Every morning I wake up at 6:59 a.m.
and head outside for a morning walk
where I say hello to the cows.
Morning.
After 4 minutes and 47 seconds,
I check my watch and head home
where I do one pull-up and two press ups.
Then I engage in a trifecta of dental hygiene.
One, brush teeth.
Two, floss.
Three, mouthwash.
I boil the kettle,
pour the milk in the mug,
and sit down with my coffee.
The place where my day truly begins.
Good morning.
Today we are staying at a beautiful farmhouse
in the countryside
and this evening
we are gonna have a veggie  barbecue on this veranda
Before that we will learn loads of English
in the theme of daily routines.
So let's go.
This is a small gate.
I'm opening the gate
and walking down the stairs.
The way that I like to begin every single day
is to take a walk.
And look at this beautiful place.
Some people like to jog on a morning.
A jog is a gentle run.
Other people like to go for a run.
I'm out of breath.
So, I rarely run about 10% of the time.
I prefer to take a stroll,
which is a gentle walk.
So, we're taking a walk through the farm.
And to my right,
these are flowers.
There are flowers of many different colors.
To my left, there is a white fence.
Today, it's very sunny.
The sun is beating down.
I have my camera.
I really like photography,
so I'm gonna take some photos.
In this picture,
there are three black and white cows
standing in front of a red barn.
Hello.
I am holding a metal bucket
and we use this to give the cow a drink.
As the weather is boiling,
boiling means very hot.
This cow is resting in the shade.
Both of us are lying down.
Okay, Mr. Cow,
I think we should go get him some water.
So, I am filling up the metal bucket with water.
But first,
just kidding.
Now, I'm carrying the bucket.
I'm carrying it.
So, now I'm lifting the bucket
over the fence for you,
Mr. Cow.
All right.
He's got his drink now.
I think I want my drink.
So, let's go take a break.
Stay hydrated.
That's the next part of my daily routine.
I always drink water.
Usually about three liters.
So,
I've just had a wee.
We can say to have a wee,
to have a pee,
or to have a piss.
Now, I need to wash my hands.
So, I'm turning on the tap.
Next, I need soap.
I'm pumping out the soap.
I'm rubbing the soap between my palms.
My palms.
And look at that.
It's foamy.
So, I'm rinsing it off under the tap.
I'm turning off the tap.
Now, I need a towel.
Towel.
towel.
I'm drying my hands with a towel.
Right, the next part of the daily routine
is to make breakfast.
This is a mango.
This is a small knife.
I'm using the knife to peel the mango.
I am peeling the mango.
All right, I just peeled the mango.
This is the mango skin or the mango peel.
Discard that.
Now it's time to slice.
So I am slicing the mango.
Now I'm going to dice the mango.
To dice is to cut it up into small squares.
I just diced the mango.
More fruits.
Look at what we have.
In the colander,
we have a bunch of grapes.
This is another bunch of grapes.
Finally, we have a strawberry.
And the top part of the strawberry
is called the hull.
When I take it off,
I can say I just hull the strawberry.
Let's chop these up
and make our delicious overnight oats.
Okay, so I'm putting the oats in the bowl.
And these oats are mixed with yogurt and oat milk.
The best part about making breakfast
is eating breakfast.
Let's go.
This tastes good,
but I think something's missing.
Oh, hello.
Hello.
All right, breakfast is done.
Now, the most important thing  for every British person.
A cup of tea and the rain.
Doesn't get more British than this.
A goose is eating food in the rain.
Droplets of water are falling on the leaf.
The rabbit takes shelter in the hutch.
Mushrooms are growing from the wet log.
It's drizzling.
There's something about the rain
that I find so calming and peaceful.
I love to go out when everybody else is inside.
Do you like the rain?
Chilly, right?
Just took a walk in the rain
and I'm feeling good.
I'm feeling refreshed.
So, the next part of my daily routine is to
Now it's time to do some work.
All right, now it's time  to do the bulk of my work,
which is editing videos.
The stuff you guys don't see.
To be honest, editing takes a long time.
But just like you guys, I'm still learning.
Once I've edited videos,
the next thing I like to do is
to use my iPad to annotate.
Can you pass me my hat, please?
Your hat?
Yeah.
It's under under the chair.
Yeah. Yeah. One sec.
There you go.
Thank you.
You're welcome.
Sorry.
Right. So, as I was saying,
the next thing I like to do is to annotate photos.
So, I'm trying to annotate
as many of these photos as possible for you guys.
If you want to support me,
you can check out my Instagram.
The third piece of work
that I love to do is freewriting.
You simply set a 5minut timer
on your phone and then write.
The only rule is to not stop.
It doesn't matter if you  write the same word 50 times.
Just keep writing.
Eventually, you'll find a flow.
The most exciting thing of all,
I'm working on a new project
and it's to help you guys learn English
even more efficiently,
even more effectively.
But it's a secret.
I'll tell you very soon.
The rain stopped
and we decided to come see the horses
on the farm.
Yeah.
Yeah. Horsey horsey.
So, these are the horses stables.
We actually came to see the horses,
but they're inside.
So, I've got a plan.
I'm going to pick some grass.
Right, I've got some grass
and I think I can coax them out.
Don't step on that rake.
Here I see
grass?
Bit of grass?
Some grass?
Well, the horse doesn't want my grass
and I'm not going to eat that grass.
Oh. Oh, we might have a horse.
We might have a horse.
Come on. Come on.
I threw all my grass away.
There we go.
All right, guys.
We have a little baby horse.
Hello.
You having a sniff?
Well, the horse just sniffed my hand.
There we go.
It's eating my grass.
I did it.
I'm going to pick some more grass.
I'll be right back.
There's some grass for you.
Yes. Well, I've achieved what I wanted to do.
Can I pet you?
No more grass for you.
That's just my hand.
All right.
I fed the horse grass.
It worked.
I coaxed her out.
While we're here,
this part of the horse is called its mane.
Hello.
I'm touching its mane.
M A N E.
She's swishing her tail to
get rid of the flies.
She's scratching herself on the fence
right now, I'm petting the horse.
Yeah. Do you want some more food?
Hey, I'm going to get some more grass.
Come on, girl.
Get some of this, don't you?
So, I'm feeding the horse some grass.
This is quite long grass.
And um a male horse is called a stallion.
A female horse is called a mare.
A baby horse is called a foal
Horses usually eat hay,
which is dried grass.
They have a mane,
which is this hair on his back.
The same as a lion.
A lion has a mane, too.
In the UK,
it's very common for people to ride horses.
Those people are called jockeyies.
But you won't catch me getting on that horse.
I want to get a snack.
Well, we got a snack,
but we've already eaten it.
Completely forgot to film it.
Um, it was nice.
There's some kind of bread with cheese,
sweet cheese.
something that's quite odd to me as a York
as an English man.
Uh but it was very nice and I devoured it.
I devoured it, man.
I ate it very fast.
And now we're just left with these two drinks.
I have a lychee tea and mango.
Chang has a mango tea.
Cheers. Cheers. Cheers.
Um after this we're going to  head back to our farmhouse
and play some games.
But I've just spotted something.
a tractor.
Should we teach a bit of the tractor?
This is the steering wheel  which takes you left or right.
These are the pedals which help you go or stop.
This is the gear stick  which helps you shift gears.
I hope it doesn't actually drive.
All right, it's game time.
We are about to play some  Frisbee before dinner tonight.
All right, where's my Frisbee partner?
There she is in a beautiful yellow skirt.
You ready? Yeah.
Hey, nice catch.
Okay, so we are throwing and catching.
Can't like reflexes.
My shoes just came off in the process of that.
Actually might play barefoot.
It's quite nice.
The shoes are coming off.
So a big part of our daily routine is to play.
It's something that we lose as we become older,
as we become adults.
And play is very important.
All right, I need to get my shoes.
I forgot. Yeah.
through the legs.
Nice catch.
One more.
And for you guys, just kidding.
Look at these ants, guys,
these ants are massive.
Much bigger than in the city.
Ants are insects and a group of ants
is called a colony.
A colony of ants.
So, we're preparing for the barbecue.
And I have in front of me some ingredients.
Let's take a look.
Burger buns
veggie burgers
mayo or mayonnaise
tomato ketchup
tomatoes
an orange pepper
some lettuce
a jar of pickles
a cucumber
some baby corn
a block of cheddar cheese
my favorite
and an avocado.
Let's cook.
All right, first step is to prep
or prepare all our salad ingredients.
These are going to go inside the burger.
I'm slicing the cucumber.
Cucumber.
Right.
An important part of my daily routine is to relax.
Oh, yes.
Right. I'm relaxed.
So, I've chopped the cucumber.
Next are the tomatoes.
And I'm going to slice these  in nice uniform thin slices.
So, now I'm slicing the pepper.
I just sliced the pepper.
And these are in big chunks
because I'm going to roast them on the barbecue
so they get that real sweet flavor,
that sweetness.
This is a barbecue.
And I'm opening the barbecue.
This is the lid.
These are a barbecuer's best friend.
Tongs.
Mother!!!
That was hot.
Don't pick up tongs that have  been sat in the barbecue.
Use the ones on the table.
Let me know, guys.
For the next episodes,
I'm going to do a Q&A question and answer.
I would love to answer your guys' questions.
So, what do you want to know?
Quiz me on my personal life.
No question is out of bounds.
Looking forward to it.
I've got a weapon
and I'm not afraid to use it.
This is a blowtorch
and I'm about to blow torch the coals
because they are not hot enough.
So, let's take a look at this.
I'm turning on the gas,
pressing the trigger,
and I'm blowtorching the coal.
All right.
Now, I'm putting the grill back on.
And hopefully, they should cook nicely.
Smoke in my eyes.
After 2 minutes of crying due to onions and smoke
the burgers are ready.
Two beautiful burgers.
I am starving.
He's very hungry.
So, let's eat these.
Well, this burger was delicious.
I feel like it's nourished my soul.
And there's one feeling
that I want to leave you guys with.
It's when you feel positive about the future.
You're looking forward to things.
That feeling is optimistic.
I hope you guys have had a successful day
wherever you are.
I hope you're feeling good about today
and optimistic about the future.
Thank you for watching.
Love you all.
Peace.
