When inspiration strikes, you act on it.
You don't sleep on it.
Specially, if it keeps coming
back to you over and over again.
We all have something we've
been meaning to create.
For me, it's this app.
For you, maybe it's a dream you've put on hold.
This is your sign to start.
We are now in an era where it's
never been easier to build.
We have all the tools,
the resources, the access.
If you've ever dreamed of starting something,
there's no better time than now.
In today's video,
I'll share the two ideas
I've been dreaming up and
how you can help choose
which one comes to life.
I hope it not only inspires you,
but lights a fire for your own ideas, too.
Hello, my loves.
Welcome back to Lavendaire.
Exciting stuff today.
So, if you have watched
my videos the past year,
you know I have been exploring making an app.
Last year, I went to a couple tech conferences.
If you're on the email list,
I sent out a couple surveys
asking what you're interested in.
And today, I'm ready to share my concepts
that I am very, very excited about.
So, these app concepts are things that
I wish existed, but don't exist yet.
And so, I'm excited to create them.
And it's the kind of experience
where like in the beginning,
I would just push off the ideas.
Like, they would come and I'd be like,
"Never mind, I'm too busy to work on this."
And then they would come back.
And just when you have an idea
that keeps coming back to you,
it's asking to be explored.
It's asking to be brought to life.
And so I began sketching things out
and really ideating and
envisioning what I could create.
So it's been about, I don't
know seven or eight months
since I've had like you know design concepts.
The half of this year actually
I've been working with a UI designer
wireframing one of the app concepts
and we're ready to like start testing
very early testing with that.
But the past couple weeks I got reinspired with
another app idea that I had
once just put on a shelf.
Like "nah I'm not going to do that one,
I'm going to do this one".
Like option A was my favorite
option for the past year or so
but for the past two weeks option B
has like came calling to me again.
So, today I decided to share
both options, and you can let me know
which one you're more excited about.
It's been over a decade since
I've started creating content,
and I feel like I'm in a stage of my life
where I am ready to step into a next chapter,
a next evolution, where I am working
on creating things that have a
deeper, longerlasting impact.
For example, one of the things
that brings me the most joy is creating tools
and resources that you can use
that actually empower you in your everyday life,
which is why I love creating things
like the workbook, my planners and journals.
But I've not ventured onto
the digital aspect of it.
I've created an online course,
online workshops and communities.
But an app is something
that is a different version,
a different medium of a tool
that you can use every single day
that can help you transform
your life for the better.
So, I'm super excited about the potential
and the possibilities that this can lead to.
And like I mentioned, it's never
been a better time to build something
because the tools are so accessible now.
It's so possible for you to
create anything that you want.
So, I'm super excited to share.
So, to present these two concepts to you,
I created two landing pages using Framer.
So, I'd like to thank Framer
for sponsoring today's video.
Framer is a node code website building tool
that lets you launch any
website or marketing campaign
without needing a developer.
It's honestly perfect for me as a creator,
someone with a design
vision, but no coding skills.
Framer makes it so easy to build beautiful,
high-quality websites of your own.
It's very visual and feels just like using Figma
or Sketch if you're familiar with those tools.
To get started, I picked a couple templates
I liked from their library.
They have over 700 templates to choose from.
Then I customized the templates by adding
my own fonts, colors, and images.
It's amazing how quickly
you can build something
that looks super polished.
I really appreciate how you
can see all screen sizes,
desktop, tablet, and mobile at the same time.
I spent a little extra time
tweaking each layout so
that everything looked good across all devices.
And the cool thing is rearranging the layout
on mobile doesn't affect desktop.
So you can fully optimize each version.
Here's what we've built so
far for the landing page
of the first concept, Align.
And here's the landing page
for the concept, Resonance.
I'll leave both links in the description below
so you can check them out and let me know
in the comments which one
you're more excited about.
Don't worry, I'll share more
about each concept in a bit.
If you're ready to build your
own website or landing page,
try Framer and use my code 'AILEEN'
to get 25% off your subscription for 3 months
when you upgrade to a paid plan.
The first concept is Align, the life design app.
So, Align is the life design app for
authentic alignment, growth, and well-being.
I'm calling it: your system
for intentional living.
So think of it as a system that helps you
clarify and connect your vision, values,
goals, all the way down to your daily actions.
So it's kind of like a central
hub for self-reflection,
goal setting, habit tracking,
and journaling your daily gratitude,
wins, reflections, and all of that.
In a way, it is the digital evolution of
the Artist of Life Workbook if you've seen it.
Basically, it helps you envision, plan,
and execute your dream life and help you
become your future ideal self.
And with the power of technology,
analytics, AI, it can give you so many insights,
so much data based on everything that
you put into it that can show you
how you are growing and evolving over time.
The key mission with this app is
to help you live aligned to your ideal self
and aligned to your dream life.
Everything that we do, we
want to make sure our actions,
our thoughts, our habits are all aligned.
We don't want to feel misaligned because
there are people who live life having a dream
but not really taking action towards it. Right?
They might feel like they're doing a lot.
They might be busy but they're busy
going in the wrong direction.
So the whole point of Align is
to make sure first of all you
clarify, you know what you want.
Like I know what I want.
I know what my values are. I know who I am.
Who I want to be and then
it helps you with the plan,
executing and making that vision real.
So, Align really is the bridge between
your vision and your reality.
It's the bridge between
your current self and your future self.
And I'm super excited because this is something
that I wish existed already.
I don't know why it hasn't already,
but that's why I'm here to make it.
An example of the kind of
tracking that I'm looking for
that I think is missing out there right now is
for example, I value creativity and joy.
And so I really value and
want to track the times
where I am playing piano,
singing, going to concerts
because I love music and going to concerts
makes me feel so good, right?
It really adds to the value of my life.
It's a part of my dream life.
It's aligned to my best self.
And so I would like to track how
often I'm doing these things.
And they're not typical habits, right?
Like going to a concert is not a habit
that you would track on a habit tracker,
but it's a meaningful action.
So I want to be able to
track meaningful actions
like that and then get the insights of,
oh, this month you spent
this much time on creativity.
You spent 50% more time than last month or
you're two times better than last year.
Oh, this year you're really
nurturing your joy and creativity.
And there just imagine all the different insights
you can get from tracking the things
that are meaningful in your life.
This could apply to anything from health,
relationships, your career, finances.
It really is meant to like hold
a holistic view of your life.
I call it kind of like a finance app
but for your soul, right?
A finance app shows you
where your money is going,
where you're spending your money,
where your money's coming in and out.
But this app will help you track your time,
your energy, your mindset, your alignment.
How are you feeling?
Where are you spending
your time and your energy?
Where are you feeling fulfilled?
And how is everything that you're doing aligned
to this greater vision of your dream life?
As you can see, I'm very passionate about
this concept and I really
hope to bring it to life.
Align is inspired by my
intentional living systems like
the Workbook, my Notion templates,
and my day one journal.
And I envision it to have the potential to
become a Notion like tool for personal growth
and life design.
Wait, hold on. Let me show you.
Got Toggi just got a new haircut. Look at him.
Concept number two is Resonance.
So Resonance is a soundbased wellness app
that helps you heal, reprogram your beliefs,
and align with your highest self.
So think of inner peace, inner healing,
inner transformation, manifestation.
This app helps you realign, reset your energy
and transform from within
through the power of sound.
So this is basically led by
my very popular guided audios
like my guided affirmations,
guided meditations.
So it would start with that as its core content
and then expand and go deeper into
sound for healing, sound for manifesting,
sound for resetting your
energy, and all of the things
that can help us and our overall well-being.
So this is something that leans more spiritual
and I actually don't think many people or
not enough people realize the power of sound
to heal your body, right?
Not just to reprogram your
mind, but just to heal.
There are like healing frequencies,
chakra tones, solfeggio frequencies.
So, a lot of this concept seems like
it's rooted in spirituality and very woowoo,
but so much of it is
being supported by science.
And so, it's like science meets
spirituality for the power of sound.
The mission of this app is to
become a sound sanctuary for your soul.
So it is the place that you go where
you want to find peace, where you want
to reset your emotions and your energy,
where you want to work on healing
from within or transforming
your mindset and beliefs,
releasing limiting beliefs.
There are so many things you can do through
the power of sound.
And so what's so great
and beautiful about sound
is it really doesn't require
you to do so much work.
You just close your eyes
and you let it do its thing.
Cuz sound is vibration.
And the vibrations kind of move through you,
through your body, and it can be very healing,
very peaceful, very relaxing.
If you've ever gotten a sound bath,
you understand what I mean by
how transformative sound can be.
If you've never tried a
sound bath, well, go for it.
And this app will be a gateway to
trying so many ways that you could heal
and transform through sound.
And it's also not just about relaxing
and calming down either, although that's great.
But sound can also put us into a state of flow.
It could help us focus on our work.
It could boost our creativity.
It can do so many things.
And I don't think people use sound
and music as a tool enough.
I talk about using music as a tool
to like shift your state
and to change your energy and to become like
the version of yourself that you want to be.
I've talked about this in like building
your own energy reset routine,
your confidence routine.
There's so much power in just putting on
the right sounds, the right music.
Also, I created this really
cute streak reward system
that rewards you for each
time you listen with a star.
So, the current visual of it is you are expanding
your inner universe because
we are an inner universe.
The more we nurture ourselves,
the more we grow spiritually.
So, anyway, each listen or each
session will earn you a star.
Five sessions earns a planet.
Like a planet appears in your universe
and then the more stars you collect,
you create constellations
and then you create galaxies.
Like if you have a 21-day streak,
if you're doing a 21-day challenge
with like affirmations or meditations,
you build a new galaxy.
And so it's just this really fun and cute visual
and branding that's very cosmic.
And I love it because it
really fits the whole theme
of sound is energy and energy is everything.
It's a mix between science and
spirituality, the universe.
That's the brand. The universe
in a very beautiful way.
And so as you can see I am excited about
this concept as well this was one of the ideas
that I kind of pushed to the side because
I'm like there's already so many apps out there
that do meditation or whatever
but I came back to it because
I wanted to test vibe coding
which is coding with AI
and I was like oh my Align app
is pretty complex so let me test it with this like
audio audio app, like just a simple audio app.
And so through vibe coding,
just for a day, I was able to create like
80% of what this app would
be. And I was like, wow.
And so I see the potential of what it could be.
And also, I have millions and millions
of people and listens on my
current audios on YouTube.
And I think it would be a shame to not try to,
you know, try to expand and go deeper on that.
To wrap it all up, Resonance is the app
that's inspired by my very
popular guided affirmations
and meditations on YouTube.
And in my vision, I think it has the potential
to become like a Spotify
for wellness, spirituality,
and manifestation.
So, although I first brushed
off this app because I was like,
"Oh, there's so many things
out there already like it."
There are two reasons why I came
back to it and I'm convinced.
The first reason is a lot of
these like popular meditation apps
Calm, Headspace they focus
more on relaxing the mind.
It's more clinical. It's very like meditation
for calming anxiety and whatever.
They're not using audios for
affirmations and manifestation.
The way that you can reprogram your mind
and redo your belief system.
So that's what my affirmations do.
And a lot of my meditations
have those affirmations
in there and I can create new
manifesting visualization audios.
There's so much that you can do that
I don't really think is quite mainstream yet.
And so I think there's a gap there whereas
they are more clean minimal
clinical psychological based.
I feel like I'm leaning more into like
the spirituality manifestation side.
The second part is this.
If you are a type of person who knows and is
looking for those healing frequencies,
healing frequency music,
the only two places that are popular to find it
are YouTube and Spotify.
So, we all know like YouTube has so much content
and the audios there are pretty good,
but when you go on YouTube, you get distracted.
There's so many other videos and
there's there's just so much.
It's kind of a mess. There's
no great way to organize it.
And same thing with Spotify.
Like I use Spotify to listen to people's
playlists of healing music, but it's very limited.
There's not many playlists and even if they are,
I don't know if these are the best songs.
Like I want to be able to, I don't know,
find the best ones and have a place where
I don't get distracted by other things because
there's other things on YouTube and on Spotify.
I want to open a place like an app where
this is for my spirituality, wellness, and
healing and manifestation.
Like it's like a sanctuary. I know everything
I get in here is going to be good quality.
It's not going to be random.
Like the frequencies, music is definitely
curated. It's just good.
I know that it's good for me.
So, I think there's opportunity
to create a space like that
because I don't think it exists yet.
So, those are my two concepts that
I'm working on right now.
Let me know down below
which one excites you more.
And definitely check out
the two landing pages that
I created because I have a sign up form.
If you want to get on the wait list to be
one of the first ones to try these apps,
if you want a beta test or anything like that
or just stay updated with the progress,
then make sure you sign up there.
This is a separate email list
than the Lavendaire email list.
So, if you really are interested
in the apps, sign up for these.
These are like app only email updates.
I will count your email signups as votes
on which concept you want
to see come to reality more.
So, as of now, I am still wanting to create both,
but in the future, I might have to choose one.
I'm not sure.
I do feel like Resonance
is much easier to create
and Align is the more complex
one that will take longer.
Right? Align I started sketching it last year.
This whole year, for the past,
I guess five months or so,
we've been wireframing.
So, the basics of the wireframe is designed out,
but there's still so much left to go on that one
before I can have anything that's testable.
Resonance, I feel like I can
bang it out really quickly.
And I am curious how many of the people
who listen to my audios on replay would like
a dedicated app just for that. So, we'll see.
By the way, I also created brand new
Instagram accounts for each of these apps.
I'll put the handles here
and links are down below.
Please follow whichever
one you're interested in.
It was so fun creating a
brand new Instagram account,
just starting fresh with new branding.
Anyway, this whole process of envisioning
and ideating these app concepts
has really taken me back.
If you thought this app idea,
this dream came out of nowhere, it really didn't.
Actually in 2013, the year
before I started Lavendaire,
I was working on an app idea and
I was toying with the concept of
should I be a tech entrepreneur,
like in 2013 back then
and I sketched out I made
like a Photoshop mockup
of this app concept that I
created back then called Mantra.
And the concept was just
like a place to organize
your quotes and your favorite like words like
favorite mantras, affirmations or quotes
and you would just like
rank them and share them
and it was like this little social media thing.
That was the time in my life
where I had just graduated
and I was feeling very lost
on what to do with my life,
what direction to take. So
I was exploring everything.
So I was doing music, I was doing YouTube,
I was writing on a personal blog and then
I was exploring like should I make an app
and I was taking a lot of online courses.
So I took like a human computer interaction
course online which is basically UI UX class.
I learned design thinking and although
I put the app down and I started Lavendaire
and it became this whole career,
this whole business, it's
funny how over a decade later
I'm coming back to this this
area, this field, right?
It maybe it's always been a part of me
and it's never left me.
It's always I think back then
I didn't have the resources or the tools
to be able to create an
app. It's expensive, right?
Specially back then,
you got to hire developers.
It just costs a lot of money.
Now, we are in an era where
everything has gotten cheaper.
Technology is more accessible.
We have AI. AI can help you code.
There's so much that you can do.
And I have a design background,
so I know how to use
Photoshop and all of these tools,
but now you don't even need to have the skills
or the knowledge on how to use these softwares
because AI can do designs for you.
So, it's crazy the era that we're
in and it really excites me.
Of course, there are pros and cons
to this whole technology
thing that we're working on,
but my mission here is to use technology
to fuel our growth and our
evolving of consciousness.
I never want us to rely on the machines.
I want the machines to support us in our lives
and help us become better human beings.
So, if you have an idea
that has been calling you
and asking to be explored, asking to be created
and brought to life, this is your time to do it.
Sending you so much love and
I can't wait to read your comments.
Bye.
