to start off our review of Daang Airport
with the
toilets. As you can see, there's plenty
of space to put your bags here.
You can fit two personal
bags. You can even put a whole
backpacking backpack here. Plenty of
space in this
toilet. So, head on

here. Okay, so I just uh arrived at the
airport at the international terminal.
Um the international terminal and the
domestic terminal are in different
sides. So, right now we're here on the
international
terminal and the domestic terminal is
over there. Um, it's connected by a
causeway. So, if you do need to transfer
from an international flight um to a
domestic flight, then you're going to
have to take the bus across. But, it's a
very short loop, only 5 minutes.

can wrap your bags here for extra

protection. Nice and clean in this
airport. I'm going to check out how much
my bag weighs. And there are also
selfchecking kiosks right here behind
me, but only for a few of the major
airlines such as uh Asiana, China,
Vietnam, and Starbucks. The budget
airlines, you can't check in. Um but
let's see how much my package
weighs. Uh I travel a lot, so my
guesstimate is that um this is probably
about 20 g, 20 kg, excuse me.
Okay, so I'm actually going to use the
online check-in or the selfch check-in.
Uh the boarding gate doesn't open until
3 hours before departure, and I got in a
little bit too early at 3 hours and 15
minutes. So, I'm going to check in
myself and see how this works.
Okay, so I have just passed the um glass
walls to go through the customs and to
get your VAT tax, it is after these um
customs and departure. So after
customs and departure and security
check, you will get your VAT tax.
All right. So, I just finished customs
and it was pretty easy process. Um, now
I'm going to go in and see where I can
do my VAT tax refunds.
Uh, so I was told it was to the
right
after the
departures and we will
see where this exactly is.

airport. Okay. So after the security
check at the departure terminal of the
international terminal, you will turn to
the right. After the security check, you
will turn to the right. You will see a
purple sign that says VAT
refund. Follow that
sign. And then beyond that purple masked
head is a red banner that says VAT
refund to the left.
They got some nice artwork over
here. The airport is only 15 minutes
from the beach. So, it doesn't take that
long to get to the airport. So, you
don't need to get to the airport super
early. But if you do get to the airport
super early, this is actually a very
nice airport to be at. Okay, let's do
the VAT refund.

checkpoint. Unfortunately, the security
guard up front didn't know what the
customs office meant.

paperwork for customs. Took about maybe
10 minutes, 10 15 minutes. And I'm going
to go back

place where I get the VAT tax

expensive drinks here. Uh $4 for a Coke
or other soda drink. $4.80 for an Evian.
Really expensive here. Good thing I'm
getting
my tax refund. I'm going to see if I can
find cheaper water somewhere
else. Here's some Aquafina. Aquafina is
only $150. It's not cold, but maybe I
will get some ice from Burger
King. Okay. So, don't go to this puro
gusto for your drinks. It's super
expensive. Just go to the souvenir shops
where it's slightly less expensive.
And they also do have the cheap Dani
water as well.
