and try not to look back. - It's a Look Back Challenge.

Okay. It's all gonna be in my taste.

If you pick something that I LOVE... I'm gonna have to look back.

- (FBE) We're gonna play a video for you.

We're gonna pause it right before it gets interesting.

Then you're gonna turn your chair and face away from the laptop

just before we play the good part, and you're gonna miss it.

So, you're gonna have to decide in that moment whether you want

to win the challenge or get the payoff.

- I wanna win, but I'm very curious.

I also have a big fear of FOMO, fear of missing out.

So, this is gonna play to my ultimate fear.

- (FBE) So if you lose during the video,

you'll be out, but then we'll bring you back

for the next one. Keep track of how many times

you get out. - All right. Let's do it!

- I don't do well with delay of gratification

and things like that. When I see something I want,

I'm just kinda like, I'm gonna go for it and watch it.

- I have decent self-control, but when it comes

to being entertained, I'm kind of a weenie,

and I want it now.

- (Mary) Do what? - With the guy from "Hamilton"

and Emily Blunt. Okay. This might be easy.

- Play it through. I mean will I watch this movie? Yes.

- I get why people would wanna turn around.

There's so much going on right now.

- I'm gonna happily sit here and let this just play.

- The music makes you wanna look back and see what's happening.

- (George) ...the children's heads with stuff and nonsense.

- I'm gonna turn around. I like this. I wanna watch.

I wanna see what-- I'm curious. Wait! That's it?!

(buzzer) - It is hard to listen

to this very magical music and know that I can't look

at the magic. - That's it?

Okay! I made it through! - Quite frankly, I can go

watch it after this, so I'm good!

♪ (upbeat dance music) ♪

- Ooh. I love these! I love these.

- (woman) Hi, everyone. I hope you're having...

- Oh. I am having a great day.

- I love how excited she is. (chuckles)

- (woman) ...galaxy mirror cake. Well, let's get started.

- I love cooking videos. - (woman) ...has something to hold

the excess on the bottom. - Okay.

- (woman) Slowly start adding the colors...

- All the gooey stuff. This is the good part right here.

- Oh, man. It's so much pretty goo.

Oh, it's so shiny and sparkly.

- Noo. It's right on when they're gonna pour it,

and it's gonna be satisfying. - I'm gonna do it.

I'm gonna turn-- I don't care. (chuckles)

(buzzer)

- It's all good. I know it would be beautiful,

but I don't need it.

- Okay. (exhales) I made it through.

- This is taking a lot out of me. I'm gonna need a few days

off of work after this.

♪ (Latin reggaeton music) ♪ - (gasps) The "Taki Taki" video.

- That Selena Gomez? - Selena singing español.

And you pause it right at her part?

Are you-- are you [bleep] kidding me?

And she looks gorgeous there! And I was watching it this morning.

They just released a-- I'm sorry.

- I don't know what this is, so I'm just gonna enjoy

some bops while looking at the wall over here.

- (laughs) I think I can do it.

- ♪ ...know how to play ♪ - I'm turning around. Yes.

(buzzer)

- ♪ ...how to play ♪ - Hey, this song is fire, though.

- I'm not really into this music. So, it's kind of easy

not to look back and see what's happening.

- I might win a challenge for the first time in my life.

This could be the one. But there's a lot more to go.

- "50 hours of building." Ooh, dominoes.

- Oh, no. Oh, no!

- This one, I'm gonna have to look back.

- Oh, no! It just started!

- ("cries") (sad laughter) Okay.

Ah, forget it! I'll just look.

Oh my god. That is so cool.

(buzzer)

- Ah, I can't do it!

- Yeah, I have to see. I have to see what happens.

Oh my gosh. That is so cool.

(buzzer)

- I wanna turn around! I don't care.

- Oh, this is great. Okay, worth it.

(buzzer)

- No, I have to-- I have to watch it. (laughs)

(buzzer)

(dominoes crashing)

- It just sounds so, so cool.

- Is it still going? There's still dominoes?!

(groans) (dominoes clattering)

- I am so jealous of every viewer that just got to watch that.

(loud booms) - Whoa!

- Ah, OK Go are SO good!

- Oh, in slow mo!

♪ (alternative rock music) ♪

- Oh! You gave me the first explosion, too.

You just pull me in.

- No, I'm gonna do it. (buzzer)

- Even the music slowed down to go with the--

to go with the speed of the video.

Whoa. (buzzer)

- You know what? I'm gonna turn around.

- ♪ All of this... ♪ - What can I say? I like color

and explosion. (buzzer)

- Okay, I can lose once. (buzzer)

- How do they come up with things like this?

Every video is genius in a whole different way

than the one before. - It's just, like,

how do you time out the individuals?

The math that goes into that let alone the art that you have

to figure out with it blows my mind.

- Yeah, no, I'm not tempted.

And this song isn't tempting to turn around.

I can just jam out. - This is so long.

I made the worst decision possibly of my life.

- Oh, the long ones! The long ones are what get me,

'cause it's just like, "Well, maybe...

maybe I'll just catch the end of it."

But... (sighs)

- Oh, boy! Is he gonna do a belly flop or...?

Oh, okay. Maybe I don't wanna watch this one.

- It's gonna be fine. I don't need to see this.

- And now I wanna know. Does he get hurt?

Let's find out. - I just wanna watch it.

Do I have to turn around? Can I just...?

- (FBE) No, why not just stay there?

- Yeah, let's go. - (FBE chuckles)

(crowd yelling)

- That's not fair. I wanted to see

in front of them. (buzzer)

- It sounds like something good happens.

I'm afraid he died. (buzzer)

- He might do something really cool. (gasps)

- (people yelling)

I missed it! (buzzer)

- (people yelling) - Oh. (chuckles) These laughs.

- I can't tell if they're happy cries or sad cries.

- I hear clapping and also... booing?

I think he's okay. - I feel like they're, like,

laughing and clapping from a belly flop,

but it kind of sounds like he died.

- (reporter) ...structure that I really wanna show you

is right over here. - Oh my god.

- (laughs) Ah. It hasn't even happened

and I'm cracking up. - Okay, Leaning Tower.

Is that Jenga blocks? - Oh, dang it's made out

of Jenga blocks?

- Oh my god. It's gonna fall.

- I feel bad for saying I hope it falls,

but it'd also be very entertaining-- oh.

- I wanna watch this. (chuckles) - (FBE, amused) Okay. Here's the end.

- Okay. (laughs) (buzzer)

- Oh my gosh. (buzzer)

- (gasps) (buzzer)

- (laughs) (buzzer)

- Oh, no! Something bad happened.

- I just wanna turn around to hug him.

- I can hear that man's heart breaking.

- The-- (laughs) Hoo.

- (FBE) So, that was our last video.

- Oh, is-- did I win? - To not have an outlet

of seeing something through is a lot more frustrating

than I was expecting it to be.
