Hi guys! Welcome back to "On the go with EF".
I hope you all had a fantastic Halloween and
that you enjoyed some of that delicious
candy that Kendra showed to us last week.
I’m here on Place Vendôme,
the heart of Parisian luxurious jewelry.
Here you can find Cartier, Chaumet, Chanel,
Dior … anything. You name it, it’s here.
And I’m very excited because I’m meeting up with
Philippine and she’s taking me to rue Saint-Honoré
where I can find even more luxurious boutiques.
So, come on. Let’s go and explore the
luxurious window shopping in Paris.
Okay, guys! Let’s go meet up with Philippine.
Hello! How are you?
Fine, and you?
Ok, so take me there. I’m already excited!
Is it far? Can we talk there?
Yes, yes! It’s over there!
Just over there? Awesome!
Oh my god, there’s so much stuff here.
Jimmy Choo, Cavalli.
I want to try everything.
Yeah, I know! Everywhere I look,
there’s something really interesting.
Rue Cambon. Isn’t this where Chanel...
I think she used to work here.
Yeah.
So, this is the homeland of Chanel.
The original store.
Where she got all her inspiration.
Wow. Oh my god, look at this. This is very exclusive.
I love it. I love this dress. It’s so beautiful!
It is very French and I love how
she always has the pearls.
You know, you would think pearls
are something so classical,
but she plays with them in such a
modern and young way. It’s beautiful.
This is Memo, the very French perfumery.
The famous one. I love all their packaging.
It’s gold and they have these cool eyes on the bags.
Oh! Hervé Léger.
Those are probably the most modern,
feminine dresses you can find. Look at them!
When you see a girl wearing an Hervé,
you know it’s an Hervé.
You recognize it.
Because of the cut. They’re beautiful. It’s also French.
So many great designs and things
are from France. It’s amazing!
And I see Maison Michel.
Okay, every lady who wants to own a hat
needs to own a Maison Michel hat.
They’re just something else.
I want to go inside this one and try some hats on.
What do you think?
Yeah, we can!
Oh, I see Chloé!
I love this store.
They always have such classical, elegant
collections with a bit of fun.
Oh my god. I love this jacket. It’s so nice!
Yeah! I love this dress!
It looks very cozy. I like it.
They take a super elegant evening dress and
rough it up with some cowboy-inspired boots and
some ski-inspired jacket with mouton.
It’s beautiful. I love it!
I want them. I really want these ones.
Ok, guys. I think this is one of my
favorite hotels in Paris: Hôtel Costes.
It’s very chic.
All the models and designers and everyone
who is anyone comes to hang out here
and have lunch and coffee.
Oh my god - Manoush.
Okay, we have to go inside this one.
I love Manoush. Everybody loves Manoush.
You cannot not love Manoush.
Hello!
Hello!
I can’t choose one. Look at this.
It’s so beautiful! It’s so colorful!
And it’s going to look so good on me!
Yes.
I love it. I love how colorful and
expressive everything is. Check it out.
And then, Colette.
Colette. That’s the awesome
place that you told me about.
Guys, there’s a shop called Colette and they
have all the coolest things you can find.
They hand pick from different brands
all of the awesome stuff that there is.
And you can find anything there from
10 Euros to 100,000 Euros.
Even more.
Even more!
When Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian -
whenever they come to Paris, they all go to Colette.
They also do some shows and performances there.
Yes, many events there.
I haven’t been there yet,
so I’m really looking forward to that.
So maybe we’ll do Colette
first before anything else.
I think I see it.
It’s the one with the cool vitrine.
Coca-cola and all the sneakers.
You can really find anything.
They’ve got all the special Nike editions.
And Adidas.
Yeah, the stuff you can’t find in a regular shop.
It’s cooler than Yeezys.
Philippine, look! There’s the Vilebrequin!
Isn’t this where –
Vilebrequin.
What?
Vilebrequin.
Vilebrequin. This is a super-famous
guys’ swimwear shop.
It’s expensive, but it’s a bit
less expensive in Paris.
It’s really cool. Check them out.
It’s perfect if you want to go to Saint-Tropez.
When you see a guy wearing this, you know
that it’s Vilebrequin that’s he’s wearing because
they always have these colorful designs
with flowers, turtles or seahorses or...
anything else you can imagine,
you can get it on your swim shorts.
So, guys, you should look into this.
Check this out. This is rue Royale
and it crosses rue Saint-Honoré.
And, after this, it becomes
rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré
and all the numbers start over again.
So, when you finish shopping on rue Saint Honoré,
you’ve got to max out your credit cards again
and go on rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré
for more shopping because here, again,
there’s Gucci Dior, Chanel, everything.
There’s one on every crossing on every street.
Let’s go now to rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
Of course, there’s a Gucci store. You know Paris.
What are you going to do?
Okay, guys. This is Hermès.
You’ve got Chanel and then you’ve got Hermès
where the handbags are 10,000 or 7,000 Euros
and you need to get on a
waiting list if you want one.
So, you don’t choose Hermès, Hermès chooses you
and what kind of handbag you get.
Nice.
So, that’s the Christian Louboutin shop,
the famous red sole shoe shop.
As you can see, there is even
a line outside to get in there.
Every girl dreams of having
Christian Louboutin shoes.
You know, I think I’ve done
enough window shopping.
I actually want to go and buy something.
Where can we go?
Champs-Élysées?
Champs-Élysées? We can buy something?
Yes, there are some chain stores.
Let’s go and do that.
Yeah, let’s go!
We’re at Champs- Champs-Élysées now and
you have all these really nice shopping windows here.
Check this out. This is Guerlain, the perfumery,
and then you have Sephora, H&M, Zara.
We are now in the place where you can go and
actually buy something. So, let’s go shopping!
Guys, we’ve had the most
amazing day window shopping
and I’ve been to the two most famous
shopping streets in the world:
rue Saint Honoré and avenue des Champs-Élysées.
And now we’re finishing here with the beautiful
Arc de Triomphe at the end of Champs- Élysées.
Please comment and tell me what other
famous shopping streets you know!
Whoever’s comment I like the most is going to
get this cool gift that we bought at Colette and
it is a 30-day happy challenge.
Each day, you pull out a sticker which is going
to tell you something happy that you can do.
I think it’s a really cool gift.
And please make sure to come back next week
because we’re going to this really cool
French hangout place called quai ...
...François-Mauriac.
Yeah. What she said.
Bye!
Bye!
