so we gotta get him some gear.

So Tyler plays

- Yeah no he's just gonna like go in and like

bash peoples heads with his like thick noggin.

(punching noises)

And his stick

I'll just use my stick.

My eyeball was itching there.

(punching noises)

Anyways were off to get him some gear and

I think Lacrosse starts like in a week or two

something like that so we just wanna make sure.

- A week or two.

We're gonna show you all the cool stuff that he's gonna get

and what he looks like.

He's gonna be all like Lacrossed out.

Alright so were gonna go check out some of the gear here

and we already got it all picked out.

They got some really awesome like equipment stuff so

I'll give you a little tour of the store here.

That's where you get your elbow pads and your gloves.

I think this is the kind of gloves that he got.

We'll show you Tyler all decked out here.

- You know what I always didn't get?

Like when I'm watching Lacrosse they pass it so good.

It's just like womp.

- [Shawn] Yeah, and you're gonna get good like that

it just takes practice.

Alright so anyways we got all kinds of cool pads.

There's the chest plates.

Not as much protection as you would like in football

but nonetheless you still have to have it.

And then of course the sticks.

It's what makes Lacrosse fun.

Is being able to whack people in the face with a stick.

Just kidding you don't get to do that.

No whacking people in the face with a stick.

Sorry bud.

We gotta go buy all his gear and then

we'll get him all like dressed up so you can kind of see

what he's gonna look like on his first day of practice.

This is for goalies.

They get like a bigger one

and then the people that run around in the field

get the smaller one for passing.

- They make it impossible to make a goal.

Anyways I gotta go pay for the stuff.

Then we're gonna go home and

we'll get him all dressed up in it

so you can see what he looks like.

It's pretty cool.

Alright so we just got home.

Took all of the equipment out of the bag.

Got Tyler all suited up and this is

what he's gonna look like playing Lacrosse.

Bam! Look at that.

He is you see all the bags in the back.

We literally just took it out of the bag.

Okay so he wants to show you some moves.

Even though, he's never played Lacrosse before a day

in his life.

He's just got a stick.

He's got a ball and he's ready to go for it because

- I don't think I've ever held a stick before.

- Alright let's do this.

We're gonna take you outside.

We're gonna show you some of his moves.

As you can see.

We both have a little bit of work.

I think I'm gonna sit this one out.

I don't know much about this sport,

so I don't think I can coach it.

So I'll watch him maybe I'll coach next season if I can.

And then Tyler.

He's gotta work on some skills,

so we're gonna look up some youtube videos.

Go figure.

On different types of drills that he can do

before the season starts.

Alright, so Tyler and I are done practicing with his brand

new Lacrosse equipment and the kids and I we gotta go

run some errands.

Yeah and no puppies are coming though

- [Shawn] No puppy love but our house as you can see

is just a little cluttered right now.

Man, it looks like a tornado kind of hit through here.

We got stuff all over the place

and here is the beautiful Connie.

- Hey.

Yes I am going to stay back and get some cleaning done.

- [Shawn] That is so awesome.

Oh yeah Kayla's got something really important to show you.

- Okay, I drew this last night.

It's a picture of my friend Vanessa

and it's all the stuff that she likes stuck in her hair.

She's like laying down

but I didn't fill in her eyes yet or do her lips.

(Tyler laughs)

As you can see Connie is already hard at work here

while we're still lollygagging.

- I can't think of anything.

with a nice clean house.

- [Shawn] I'm already surprised.

(Connie laughs)

I know. When does this happen?

- [Shawn] It never. I mean

- We get so busy it never happens I swear.

I just gotta do it today.

As much as I'd love to go shopping.

I'm gonna clean.

- We love you Connie for helping us clean

and then I gotta do its just kind of like

I don't know torture for both of us

because I hate shopping and I'm sure Connie hates cleaning.

So we're both doing something that

we don't really want to do but needs to get done.

- Maybe we should switch?

Duh, what was I thinking?

- Why can't Mommy come with?

- Well because I don't like cleaning either.

- Then bite your tongue.

and we totally got out of cleaning

because you know honestly I don't mind shopping that much.

So this gives us a reason to sneak out of the house

and go buy Mommy an awesome birthday present.

Alright so we gotta do some regular shopping too on top

so we're gonna mix it in with a little birthday shopping

and we're gonna bring you guys along with us.

- [Kayla] Wait, I thought we were going to Michael's?

- What is. This is a doggie.

- [Shawn] They put that on their glove handles.

(Shawn laughs)

- [Shawn] Why is everything you pick up named Jeff?

- Because Jeff is an awesome name.

- [Shawn] So I'm gonna make a prediction right now.

- We bribed him to get beef jerky but putting it

- I did cave in and I got some jerky

because they said they would give me some.

So if they're gonna share it with me

I may as well buy it for them.

I got me some sweats.

They're the same ones I'm wearing right now.

No big deal but now we're off to Michael's

and we got some other stuff we're going to do.

So I just totally did a bonehead maneuver

because we were in Academy Sports

and Michael's our next stop

was literally the building next to it.

And for some reason I didn't see it or I don't know.

I thought it was somewhere else so we got in the car

and we've been driving around for like the last ten minutes

trying to find Michael's.

And we just passed it realizing

it's right next to Academy Sports.

So

- Dad?

- What kind of an award do I win

for doing something like that?

- Dad the Dad

- There's a clown on the street!

- There is.

You don't see that everyday!

He's like facing the cars going the other direction.

That is so weird but nonetheless

there is a clown on the road.

There he is.

That's the clown that's been scaring everybody

on the internet.

He's selling diamonds for 75% off now.

If you guys see a clown holding a sign

and you're scared of him, we know where he is.

(mellow music)

- So now we're at Michael's because

me and my friend have a slime business

and we need some containers to put our slime in.

So we're gonna go see if we can find any.

- Hey am I on Youtube?

What kind of mood are you guys in right now?

Alright Tyler is laughing out loud.

Kayla is confused.

Tyler is mischievous.

- [Tyler] No I'm not. I'm

- [Shawn] Now he smells like pink poo.

- No

- [Shawn] Now he smells like purple poo.

Alright so I think we're about halfway through our

shopping adventure here.

We got two of the four stores out of the way.

Kayla why don't you show everybody what you got.

- I different jars because these ones have chalkboards

on the front so we can write like what kind of slime it is.

- Oh that's a good idea.

- We got the circle one and then we got this square one.

- Kayla is becoming quite the business person.

She's like mastering this marketing thing

so she wants to make slime.

Now she's got awesome jars to put it in.

Good job Kayla.

- We got cow tails!

- And we got cow tails!

I don't know if you guys have ever had these before.

We're not really big candy eaters but every once in a while

we find a store that sells these.

Okay.

And if you ever get an opportunity.

They are so awesome.

(laughs)

These are like evil little pieces of candy

that taste really really yummy.

- [Kayla] It's chewy caramel with a cream center.

- Oh, it's delicious. It is delicious.

- [Kayla] I got markers.

- These are like special markers.

Why are theses markers so special?

What are they called Kayla?

- They're called copic markers.

- Okay.

- What they do is they.

- They draw pictures for you.

- Yes.

- Like you don't even have to do anything.

It's like Harry Potter pens for drawing.

- So they're like really special artist pens.

And so they have a chisel tip and

they have a paintbrush tip.

So the paintbrush tip is really good for blending colors

and I am getting more into drawing

because I subscribed to this girl called Bailey J

and she is so awesome.

And she has like a giant collection of copic markers,

so these are my first five copic markers

and I'm super excited to play with them.

And hopefully my collection will grow over the years

because they're really pretty.

(laughs)

- Cool so now I think we got Kayla's to do list

out of the way.

Now it's Tyler's turn.

- Video games.

- Video games. We're on our way to Game Stop.

He got a bunch of gift cards for Christmas

so it's time to use them up.

- Yay

- [Shawn] Are you excited about that?

- Yay.

(upbeat music)

- Where are you going, Kayla?

- I was trying to do the Elf thing.

- [Shawn] You trying to do the Elf thing?

Alright so we're like in a really expensive, fancy store.

Kayla is doing bottle flips.

Let's see if she can pull one off on the ground.

- [Shawn] Alright, Tyler pulled off a bottle flip

in a high end clothing store.

I was just gonna say you have two minutes

before security comes and kicks us out.

Alright, stop number one is Game Stop.

And that's not a coincidence

that's really the way that it was planned out earlier.

Here it is.

- [Tyler] Number one was Sports Academy.

- [Shawn] Inside the mall, duh.

Tyler is gonna pick out some games

and then we'll go see what it is he wants to get.

Do you have any idea what you want?

You got a bunch of gift cards for Christmas,

so what did you get with your gift cards?

- I got Overwatch and

I got Destiny like the collection pack.

- [Shawn] Well let's take a look at them.

See what you got.

- This is Overwatch.

- [Shawn] Overwatch, alright and it is a teen approved.

So that's cool.

And what's the other one?

- [Tyler] Technically a teen.

- [Shawn] And we got Destiny which is also age appropriate

it looks like so good job.

Kayla had a special request.

- I wanna go to Lush.

- [Shawn] You wanna go to Lush?

- Oh, no wait the puppy store.

- [Shawn] You wanna go to the puppy store?

Okay, on our way to the puppy store we

- Found a place.

- we are doing birthday shopping for Connie here

because her birthday is in just a couple of days

so Tyler had an idea.

- Build-A-Bear and guess where we are?

So we're gonna go inside here and we're gonna check out some

cool bears that they might wanna get Mommy

for her birthday so.

- [Tyler] Yup

- [Shawn] That's the one you wanna get her?

You don't even wanna shop around.

I mean look at all these different.

- [Tyler] No.

- [Shawn] Yeah you think that's one that Mommy might like?

- [Tyler] It's really soft.

There's a big giant line of

people trying to get their Build-A-Bears

so instead of filming the whole process here

we'll just show you what it looks like when it's all done.

Kayla just totally took off.

- [Tyler] Guys we're going to Puppy.

- [Shawn] We're going to Poopy?

- [Tyler] No, Pppy.

- He wants me to pet him.

- [Tyler] It looks like Harley but really fluff.

Alright so now we are in front of the store

that Kayla wants to get a gift for.

So where are we at?

- Lush. Let's go.

We're coming.

There are so many smells in here.

It probably cost like 9,000 dollars.

- Guys there's six things in this one.

They're trying to trick you with artificial bath bombs.

- [Tyler] But one part is soap.

These stores are getting kind of crowded

so we're gonna let Kayla pick out hers

and then we'll show you what it is on our way home.

- [Kayla] This is supposed to fit a human.

- [Shawn] I think Harley would love that.

I think Harley could put that on

and pretend like he's Hershey.

- [Kayla] I thought these were hats at first.

Who would wear that.

- [Shawn] These are like slender boys huh?

It's either slender man or slender kids.

- [Kayla] I thought this was a hat.

I'm like who would wear that.

They're hair.

(laughs)

- Spiderman face planted.

- Oh my gosh. Right there.

- So is Pikachu.

Well let's get on out of here so we can go home.

Okay so we are done shopping

and before we go inside the house,

everybody has to show off whatever it is that they got.

Lay it on us girl what'd you get?

- I got this from Lush.

Bath bomb, there's a bubble bar,

there's a facial moisturizer, there's a body conditioner,

there's a body scrub, and there's a shower cream.

- [Shawn] All in that awesome, cute little box with a bow.

That is sweet.

Alright Tyler.

- And I got the cute little teddy bear from Build-A-Bear.

- [Shawn] And what else did you get?

- I got a happy birthday shirt for it.

- [Shawn] Can you like?

You gotta hold it open so they can see it.

You can't really see what it says.

There it goes.

Awesome, can you see it okay?

- Yup

- [Shawn] Sweet.

So you're gonna put that shirt on that bear

and then you're gonna give mom a big hug and a kiss

and say happy birthday I love you.

- Yup and I got something else for her

Well that one we're gonna save for actually on her birthday

because I think that's already hidden in the house

so we can't pull that out without her seeing it.

But anyways I would say very successful, productive day.
