- Kayla, as you can tell, is super excited.

It's been quite a while since they've

been able to visit,

because they've had family,

and we've been doing cheer stuff.

- I have bangs.

- And traveling, and all kinds of cool stuff.

Finally, we're gonna get together,

and it's gonna be wonderful.

because I saw a bunch of people doing it.

I was like, "How'd they do that?"

It was like I wanted to learn how to do that,

so I looked on some videos on YouTube,

and I figured it out.

- [Connie] All right, so you're really excited about this.

- He keeps getting up.

- [Tyler] You guys used to always have

sleep overs like every day.

and getting Jayla and Aydah.

We're gonna go see him,

and Tyler's not allowed to climb him.

- [Tyler] I think the last time we saw him,

he was on American Challenge.

I was climbing him.

- [Tyler] Now you're not allowed.

- We gotta tell you the story

about how Tyler broke his arm.

- That's me.

- It was the day before the end of the school year.

- It was like Halloween-time.

- Because we always do a sleep-over

before the end of the year.

Last year, we were supposed to do it my house.

- We had to go play on Steve.

- Steve is a giant tree.

Tyler was trying to see if he could like jump--

- He was trying to do some popcorn or whatever,

trying to jump from a branch to branch,

but he missed, and he fell off,

and he broke his arm.

- No, I didn't miss.

- I saw it. I was sitting.

First, he was like he fell off the tree,

and then he was going around like, "Whoa!"

- He was holding his arm, running in circles,

going, "Woo, woo, woo, woo!"

- His arm was like bent back,

and he's like, "I'm fine, I'm fine."

He got up and started like going in circles.

- He's like, "I'm fine. I want to go home now."

- He's like, "Aargh!"

He's like, "I want to go home now."

We like heard the crack.

- Yeah, it was like eh.

He slammed face-first and we're like, "Oh, shoot!"

- We started laughing, but then he was,

we noticed he was seriously hurt,

so we stopped laughing.

- We went home and then he started crying.

- Yeah, and he had to go to the hospital.

- Yeah, but guys, I didn't miss the branch.

There was moss on it.

- There was moss on it.

- Moss.

- That's how Tyler broke his arm.

I got some yummy stuff right here.

Veggies, yum.

These are Kayla's favorite,

so squash, any kind of squash.

She loves this stuff, so I got her.

Everybody loves corn, right?

So I got corn for everybody.

- Yay!

- And then--

- You got these really interesting meat roll things.

- They're called Ready to Cook.

Oh no, that's not the type of meat it is.

Yeah, anyway, it's just meat with like

spinach and cheese and mushrooms.

I don't know. - Yum.

- Should be good.

- I'm excited.

I can't wait.

How long is it gonna take?

- Oh, like, about three or four days.

You can eat on Wednesday.

- Today is Wednesday.

- Oh, okay, well then lucky for you.

(laughing)

- In a minute here, I go back and get the kiddos,

because they are still playing at the park.

All right, unfortunately time has gotten away from us, but--

The girls have to say good-bye,

for today.

Aydah and Jayla are coming back for spend the night.

- Yay.

Kayla's got cheer in like an hour and a half or so,

and we gotta have dinner,

and I'm pretty sure they have some stuff

that they have to do.

All right, we just got back home

from dropping off the girls,

and Kayla is working on her homework,

so she's deep in thought.

- I'm working on first period, which is the math.

- [Connie] Do you think you'll be done in time for cheer?

- I don't know,

'cause I don't know how much homework I have.

- Okay.

Kayla's figuring out the homework situation.

Hopefully, she gets done in time for her cheer,

but if not, I know she'll be back early enough

to where she'll still have plenty of time

to work on it.

I just didn't want her

working on homework later in the evening,

if we can get it done now.

Hopefully, fingers crossed,

if all goes well, she'll be done soon.

How's dinner?

- I thought it was done because it beeped at me,

but I checked another area

of the meat that was kind of thicker,

so it needs a couple more minutes.

It's almost done, but not quite yet.

- [Connie] So hungry.

- I'm hungry, too.

I'm smelling all the food now,

because I'm hovering over it,

and it smells really good.

Five more minutes, tops.

That's it.

I promise you. (Connie whimpering)

- I'm gonna find a video game right now.

I finished all my homework.

- You did finish your homework.

That's what I was gonna ask. - Yep.

- Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt.

- I finished my my homework at school,

'cause that's what I do.

I'm playing a game on my new PS4.

It's not really new, but I call it new,

because it's new.

- Yeah. (giggles)

I think Tyler,

he's really good at getting his homework done right away,

but I think it has something to do with

being in the fifth grade.

Do you guys remember,

if you've been in the fifth grade already,

and are in the sixth grade or higher?

- Fifth grade homework is easy.

- Yeah, do you guys think that the fifth grade

was easy, compared to sixth grade or higher?

Do you think there was a big difference between

fifth grade and sixth grade?

that there's a huge difference

between fifth and sixth grade.

- I think fifth grade should get you ready for sixth grade,

with all the work.

- But it's not.

Kayla got shocked, I think,

when she started sixth grade this year.

She was struggling with all the classes being--

- Well, they were at different rooms,

so she was jumping from room to room to room,

and before, in fifth grade, you don't have to do that.

- You just have two rooms.

- Yeah, two rooms.

- They're right next to each others.

- Mm-hmm.

- Well, the occasional third room for the bathroom.

- Do you guys get recess?

- Yeah.

Sixth grade doesn't though.

- Yeah, you don't even get recess in sixth grade,

so there's like a big difference

at the school that they're going to.

across the board, or if there is a difference.

What are you playing?

- A game called Destiny.

- Is that a age-appropriate game?

- It's a first-person shooter, like Call of Duty.

It's just, I know, kind of weird, but

cutting it off and making bite-size chunks

for the kids here.

- I'm only eating the squash so far.

I haven't eaten the meat.

I'm letting it cool off.

because Hershey was playing with it first.

- [Kayla] Yep.

I'm gonna get your tail. (dogs growling)

- [Connie] Dogs are just like kids.

- Harley is like, "Aww!" (giggles)

I think he's just sitting there.

- [Connie] Here we go.

- Hershey is like, "Wait,

"I thought you were playing with me."

- [Connie] Yay!

- [Kayla] Hershey is like, "Wait,

"I thought we were playing."
