- Good morning from Los Angeles, California.

We're at the Westin, next to the Los Angeles airport.

Lincoln and I are headin' out for the day,

and it's gonna be a long one,

and we're not gonna get back to this hotel,

till probably two in the morning.

We're gonna hold onto this video, posting it,

until the YouTube Rewind video's out.

We can talk about it, yay!

So YouTube Rewind, one of the coolest videos that YouTube

does the entire year that a bunch of different creators,

they talk about the pop culture from the year.

It's awesome.

I'll link the one from last year,

now the one from this year.

I remember watching the one last year,

thinking, man that would be so cool to be a part of that.

We're probably gonna have like a split second

that you can see us.

We're gonna be kinda like extras in it.

- Yeah.

- But, that's still --

- So, we get to be in it!

That's crazy! - We're super happy!

- Yeah, it's because of you guys.

'Cause, you're so awesome to watch our channel,

the views, the likes, the comments, and YouTube saw that

and they were like we need to have What's Inside

as part of the Rewind, 'cause they were a big part

of 2016, so I'm very, very honored to be a part of it,

in any big or small way that it is.

So, the call time, isn't until 8:30 pm.

We have all day, so we're gonna go see our buddy,

Johnathan Morrison, from Tld Today.

You've probably have already seen the videos

that we did with him, but we're gonna do some sweet videos,

and film in his awesome studio,

so that's what we're up to today,

taking you along for the ride.

It should be fun.

Hey, what do we have in there, booster board,

other secret stuff that we might cut open at some point?

Remember our test load red calipers video,

where we painted the calipers red.

I went and dropped it off at this auto spot place

and then I mentioned in the video that,

like this place is sketchy (laughs)

and everybody was like, you live in Utah,

nothin's sketchy there.

That's not a sketchy area, and I just noticed,

driving by Compton.

Compton is a place where they film lots

of movies about people shooting cars and drive-by shootings

and stuff, and gangster rap and all kinds of stuff,

so, when it comes to areas that are sketchy,

you're right, I would imagine, I would imagine,

never been there, but I'd imagine Compton is a bit more

sketchy than the place that I was at,

so, yes, you guys were right in the comments (laughs))

Straight outta Compton.

Okay, we made it to Clairemont.

We gotta stop at a store that we stop at often

before we do projects.

Okay we just finished the video,

we're downloading all the footage.

This office is super rad.

It's the second time being here,

and I'm just so envious, every time.

First of all it's in a cool area.

Second, there's really nice restaurants down below,

and third, it's just like, look at the beams!

You've got metal beams, metal roof,

really cool windows, brick wall.

When Jonathan is not editing videos,

most people like play Xbox, or stuff.

He creates these elaborate worlds,

based off of real life, with Legos,

and then he organizes them all perfectly.

No he doesn't.

But, there are like 20 guys over here,

not laughing at that joke.

(laughter)

So we're gonna take off.

This is a sweet office.

This used to be a meat packaging plant,

so they kept some of the parts of it,

like that giant red door.

Here we are.

Let's turn on the light in here.

Can you see me at all?

We're out in this place called pah-seet,

I don't even know, Golden Ranch or something.

- [Lincoln] Yeah.

- And it's out here.

I didn't know there was places like this,

this close to LA.

We're out in the middle of nowhere, like look at this.

They told us to drive five to ten mile an hour.

Somebody's here.

Who could it be?

- [Lincoln] We in the right place?

Oh where are we supposed to go?

- [Markham] We're with the YouTube.

- Oh, right there.

- [Markham] What's all this stuff for?

- For movie.

- [Markham] A movie?

- Yeah.

- [Markham] What's the movie?

- I think you like it.

- [Markham] What's it called?

- [Man] I think it's Captain America.

- [Markham] Captain America!

- [Man] Yeah.

- [Markham] Oh that's cool.

Are they done filming for the night?

- [Man] No, in the morning.

- [Markham] In the morning.

- [Man] Yeah.

- [Markham] Awesome!

You have a cool job!

- Yeah (laughs).

- [Markham] That's fun.

Have you seen any of the stars yet?

- Yeah.

- [Markham] That's cool.

Did you hear that?

Captain America!

- Is being filmed here?

- In the morning!

That's what all these trucks are.

Look how many there are!

It's like a billion of them,

not a billion of them, there's like 20 of them!

That makes me wanna be a weird fan

and like come up here tomorrow and meet them.

- [Lincoln] I know.

- But, we're actually gonna meet some people here

at the YouTube thing that probably have more followers

than the Captain America actors and actresses.

That's a funny thing.

Going ten miles an hour is super boring (laughs).

Isn't it boring?

- Especially, when I just wanna go down this road.

- [Markham] Down it.

- Yeah, it sounds so much fun.

- [Markham] Someone's waving their arms.

(upbeat music)

- [Lincoln] Hi.

- We're on a real set.

This is like a real deal movie set thingie.

Good news, we asked and we can do behind-the-scenes,

and we can film our experience here.

That's good news.

How's it feel?

(knocking)

Hollow?

- Hollow.

- So now, we need to get into wardrobe.

I need to get changed, and hair and makeup, of course.

Okay, there's a bunch of people getting on bikes.

See them.

I think there's gonna be an Ariana Grande bike scene.

(clapping)

- [Man] And down two and (clap, clap).

And down two and (clap, clap).

- [Markham] I hope you get to do that --

(Lincoln laughs)

(Markham laughs)

Did you see that?

That's what it takes to make a movie like this.

Oh, we got stuff fallin' out of the sky.

Alright, let's go get some money.

The bank.

- [Lincoln] The bank.

- [Markham] Oh there's the bank, no, it's our headquarters.

- It's our headquarters.

- I'm in the changing room.

There's these in here.

Yeah, I don't really know what's going on.

I don't even know what the theme is.

They just told me to wear some kind of workout kind of gear,

that's similar to what our channel is,

and we're gonna watch like a firework show.

So, I don't even know.

You guys already know more than I do,

because you've probably seen the video.

Okay, so this is Brodie Smith.

You guys, I'm sure, all know him.

He does the Frisbee shots, trick shots.

He's done a lot of stuff with Devin, with How Ridiculous,

just crazy shots, so anyway, really nice of him

to challenge Lincoln, or for Lincoln to challenge him

in a basketball thing and for him to be okay with it,

but, yeah, this is what we're doin'.

I think we're gonna be here

for like three or four hours, hangin' out.

Alright, that's our ten.

- [Man With Ball] There you go one for two.

Oh, tie ball game!

- [Markham] I haven't been paying attention,

but there's a big old competition and a trick-shot

thing goin' on.

(laughter)

Check out this white projector thing.

Then they put everybody on the stage

and they're gonna ride the bike, like we saw earlier

but now they're on a cool stage.

(chattering)

That was pretty cool.

This whole thing.

I mean that was Grace Helbig was up there.

Swoozie, who's played with Lincoln.

I don't know Hannah Hart, somebody, Rhett & Link,

so it's kind of surreal to see all these YouTubers

that you see all the time, on there,

and then we're here like, I don't know,

I don't know what to say about it,

but it's pretty cool.

Feel like they're gonna kick us out

and be like, actually, you guys don't belong here,

so I need you to leave (laughs).

(screams and chattering)

These guys are still going at it.

They're about to film.

Here's the part.

We're gonna watch it!

- Isn't that Rhett & Link?

- Yeah!

- In the front? - Yeah.

- [Markham] Alright, what'd you think about that Lincoln?

- So funny.

I couldn't believe it!

- [Markham] I love that part when Rhett & Link

we're doin' that and everybody else is ridin' their bikes.

- [Lincoln] Okay, here we go!

- [Markham] Are you still out here shooting Lincoln?

- Yeah!

- [Markham] It's been like an hour.

Whoa, nice shot!

- [Man With Ball] No, wait for Amber's shot.

It's a thing of beauty.

- [Markham] Oh what!

Now we're putting tape over the Nike logo

so they don't appear in the video.

So I went back and forth, like a million times,

and I was gonna wear these shorts,

these black basketball shorts 'cause they're supposed

to be sporty, but I looked at myself in the mirror

and I saw my skinny legs, and I thought,

what would my wife think?

So I thought, Leslie wouldn't like it if I wore the shorts,

so I decided to wear pants.

I'm not that sporty.

This thing's sporty, but then I've got these pants,

thesies, and this jacket.

It's as sporty as I'm gettin'.

But they said it would work, and I'm probably

gonna be in it for like a flash, as the camera's panning,

like less than an extra in a movie.

So I think it's okay.

This is happening right now.

Do you see any makeup on my face?

I feel it over here, and right here, and right there,

but I haven't, I don't think they've done anything here,

so, makeup.

- [Woman] You're done, beautiful!

- Awesome!

Okay, so here's the deal.

We're gonna be pulling this fuse.

We gotta go back in there but,

we gotta pull this fuse, and then

the fireworks show's gonna go off.

So I'm gonna grab it, and I'm gonna walk backwards

and Lincoln and a couple of other science guys,

are gonna be standing over my shoulder,

so I thought that was pretty cool.

I get to hold the fuse (laughs).

That's kind of funny.

So yeah, they want us to stay in here,

so that they know exactly where we are,

so back into the bank we go.

Lincoln after you.

Welcome to the bank!

(chattering)

Here's what we'll do.

We've got these awesome fireworks,

that aren't real, and this fuse.

So we're gonna pull back.

We're gonna walk back, creep on back,

get down, and then fireworks are gonna go off.

So, it's pretty, pretty, pretty tough work,

but we're gonna make it happen.

These guys have the hard work.

Look at all these people.

Alright, gotta hide the camera.

and cutting this button open,

but I'm actually going to film

while we're doing the photo-shoot,

so we're not really pretending that part, but --

Ahhh, I'm using movie language.

They we're saying all this stuff like, "Blocking!"

I'm like what the heck does blocking mean,

so, anyway, that's a wrap.

We gotta head home, to the hotel, and get some sleep.

We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow.
