Today, I'm part of a group of over 1,000

players simulating civilization in

Minecraft who are hosting a purge. It

all started when the ruler of the cave

kingdom, Arachnid, ordered for every

single citizen to enter chest all of

their items and then meet him outside of

his castle.

caves, is the greatest civilization to

ever exist in the history of the server.

And now that the civil war has

concluded, we will rule the surface land

of the unstable.

However, unfortunately, the day that we

rule the surface is not today. You see,

there's a tumor of weakness festering in

our civilization, made up by players

that don't belong amongst our ranks.

Players that are weak and holding us

back. So, I'll be hosting a purge. And

if you are in this crowd, you are a

participant.

Anything goes.

Your only objective is to make it back

to my castle.

And if you do, you'll be allowed to

remain a member of the greatest

civilization in all of Minecraft. So,

good luck. You'll need it.

Oh my god. Anyone who wasn't lucky or

skilled enough to clutch in one of the

cobwebs was instantly banned. But I'm

not safe yet. Knowing the players of

this civilization, people are about to

start banning each other.

Yo. So, after grabbing some basic loot,

I began running away.

Yo, why are there but a massive cross

team of four people started chasing me.

Dog, what? GO AWAY. I'M I'M not that

special. Kill each other. Like, what the

hell are you doing? You see, back in the

main civilization, I was second in

command, which makes me a massive target

in this purge since if any player

manages to ban me, they would gain a

crazy reputation and be able to use that

to rank up once the purge is over. So,

everyone wants to be the one to ban me.

But I still hadn't escaped all the

danger quite yet.

Obviously, my main objective is to

survive the purge by escaping. But, you

That's when I realized what was

happening. This arena had been

specifically designed to prevent

crafting and escape. the clay on the

ground instead of grass, stone, trees.

All of these are blocks that can only be

broken by a pickaxe, which I don't have

and can't craft. The only way to get

items in this arena is by looting chests

or killing other players. Okay, so stone

tree, I guess. Let me look for stuff.
