I'm not a big fan of it because like I

can only drink tea if I'm eating

something but it is

very strong like how you like your

coffee with just like mud yes the tea

here is like a mud version of tea I know

we are in the capital of Vietnam and the

second largest city as well so you guys

have been to Ho Chi Minh in a few other

cities throughout Vietnam so far but

what is your first impression kind of

thoughts about Hanoi the city in

comparison to Ho Chi Minh I

am people's lives and that little babies

uh I'm gonna say I'm gonna agree with

Mama on that one um I just like all

these hidden alleys I like the street

Fender I mean it looks like it's more of

a historical City versus Ho Chi Minh Ho

Chi Minh appears to be more modernized

whereas Hanoi seems to be still has its

original so again sorry Dad Hanoi right

now it seems like it has its original

uh atmosphere like it was back in the

day my dad he likes these type of

motorbikes so he's gonna make a video so

Dad if you move to Vietnam or stayed

here long term would you ride something

like this oh yeah

guys in the comment section encourage my

parents to come back so far they like it

but I'm trying to get them to come back

sooner rather than later they've gone a

lot better at walking across the street

boom jazz is a very popular dish that

so this will be it's it's a noodle dish

but you have like a pork patty and it's

grilled and barbecued yeah yeah so look

weeks ago so we're probably up to five

now holy don't know I definitely didn't

how big I am so I'm 1.91 meters or six

foot three and last night I had a huge

meal and I weighed like a hundred almost

102 kilos I'm Legit fat right now though

exercising as much as I can but I'm

Legit chunky these are the rice noodles

a lot of Vietnamese dishes it will come

with many types of vegetables so you can

see we have bean sprouts right there

lettuce again the basil there's some

cilantro and then I think another type

of lettuce as well lastly what mom will

probably not be eating any of but the

chilies and that's a bunch of garlic

right there oh yeah so if you I know

you'll do garlic mom so yeah right here

fish sauce yeah you're okay with fish

sauce yeah you have yeah I like the fish

sauce on the edge uh with fish sauce I

like the fish sauce okay yeah

this is the boom Jam so how you would be

eating this you could take the noodles

put it inside there you can take the

vegetables and also put it in there the

garlic the chilies and you can throw it

all in there you kind of it's a like a

soup stew yeah you're kind of like a

soup and not like the pho that you would

have uh personally when I eat it I

pretty much just eat all the meat first

and then afterwards I dip the noodles in

there it's not the correct way but

that's how I do it because I like meat

first but uh parents of let's try it so

it should be warm

yeah yeah it's hot yeah so it's warm so

you put the lettuce in there and you eat

the noodles with the lettuce and

vegetables and the meat and we also just

got some spring rolls you guys so spring

rolls are also a part of boomja so you

can take the spring roll we don't have

any Forks so you can use your fingers

and you can dip it inside the soup that

we have I know your Chopstick skills are

exceptional and you're going to show a

lot of people in Vietnam how to use them

the American way

yeah yeah I guess American Chopsticks

yeah yeah Parents try it all right

I think this this would be a dish that

you would like quite a bit oh wow oh wow

yeah this is good it's not the way to do

it but guess what wow this is the way

this is probably one of the best meals

and he had this noodle so sometimes

this noodle at a lot of these stands so

even if you're in the south of Vietnam

you may see President Obama eating this

Noodle's picture somewhere on the food

that they have okay yeah so it's uh he

did good or sometimes people will call

it Obama noodle I

America

so Mom so this would be your first your

favorite dish so far

I think so since you like this one so

much what other food have you had so far

in Vietnam that would compare to this

not like soup wise but something that

you enjoy this much I mean or a big

barbecue Pizza

dishes are great there's one that I'm

not really fond of but uh

the dishes are great

if it has veins in the shells yeah

yeah they're talking about the baby duck

fetus then ever since I had them try it

they questioned me before we eat

anything in Vietnam I feel like I should

have had them try it at the very end but

yeah there's a few things I want them to

try but we'll see because this trip is

quite fast and we don't have enough time

to try everything so if they come back

we'll be trying a lot more stuff the

spring rolls taste somewhat

um like the egg rolls that you get back

at the steaks somewhat all right the
