[English]
Hello my friend. Welcome to a new
episode. I'm really happy that you're
here today. To be honest, I wasn't sure
what to talk about this time. I had a
few ideas, changed my mind, thought
again, and then I decided, why not just
share a normal day in my life with you?
No big lessons, no deep topics, just
daily life. But sometimes, even in
normal days, we can find something
special, right? And if you ever have a
good idea for a topic, please tell me.
I'd really love to hear what you want to
listen to. So, are you ready? Let's go.
[Music]
Welcome to my everyday life. I usually
wake up around 7:00. Not too early, not
too late, just somewhere in the middle.
And yes, I almost always hit the snooze
button once. You know that moment when
you half open your eyes, grab your
phone, and think, "Just five more
minutes."
Yeah, that's me. Every morning, then I
go to the kitchen. The first thing I do
is make coffee almost automatically
before I talk to anyone.
Before I even talk to myself,
while the coffee machine makes its
little sound, I open the window for some
fresh air. That first bit of cold air on
my face wakes me up even more than the
coffee. I used to check my phone right
away in the morning. Messages, news,
social media. But now I try not to do
that anymore. Why? Because I don't want
to fill my head with too many things
before the day even starts, especially
negative news. I like to keep my mind
calm and clear for what's coming later.
After that, I make a small breakfast.
Maybe bread with cheese or jam or
sometimes an apple or some yogurt.
Nothing fancy, but it helps me wake up
slowly.
Then I sit at my desk, open my laptop,
look at my calendar, and start working.
My morning is usually full of computer
time, emails, small tasks, maybe a few
online meetings. It's usually fine, but
there's always one moment when I stare
at the screen and think, "Wait, what was
I trying to write again?" When that
happens, I stand up, stretch, walk
around, and drink some water. That small
break always helps. Working from home
has its good and bad sides. The good
part, I can plan my own day, take breaks
whenever I want, and yes, I can wear
sweatpants all day. The bad part,
sometimes it's too quiet. Really quiet.
Around lunchtime, I go outside, usually
to the supermarket. I always tell
myself, "This time, I'll make a shopping
list." And then I forget it every time.
So, I stand there in the store looking
at the shelves thinking, "Do I still
have rice at home?" And because I don't
remember, I just buy it anyway.
The supermarket is never quiet. Kids
crying, people talking on the phone,
music playing. And somehow I always
spend too much time in front of the
yogurt section because I can't decide
which one to buy.
Back home, I make something simple.
bread with avocado, leftovers, or just
pasta with whatever I have. I don't cook
fresh food every day, and that's totally
okay. The most important thing is it's
easy, it tastes fine, and it makes me
full. In the afternoon, I work again,
but I try not to stay at my desk too
long. If the weather is nice, I go for a
short walk outside. There's this one
corner near my house where I always see
the same old cat. I still don't know who
owns it, but it feels like an old friend
now. Sometimes I buy a coffee to go and
sit on a bench for 10 minutes, just
breathing, watching people pass by and
relaxing a little. It feels really good.
My evening looks different every day. It
depends on my energy. If I feel good, I
do a short workout or 20 minutes of yoga
on YouTube. I sit so much during the
day, so it helps my body and mind. If
I'm tired, I just eat something small,
watch a show, or call a friend.
Sometimes I go out again, just a short
walk, or maybe buy an ice cream because
why not? And there are nights when I'm
in bed at 9:00 with a hot water bottle,
thinking nothing special happened today,
but somehow it was still a nice day. On
weekends, I take things slow. No alarm,
no plan. Breakfast happens whenever.
Everything just feels more relaxed.
Sometimes I stay home, do nothing, or
clean a little bit. Not because it's
messy, but because when I clean my
space, my mind feels clearer, too. It's
like I'm cleaning my thoughts while I
tidy my desk. Other times, I go out,
meet friends at a cafe, walk around the
city, or find a place with fresh cake.
Those small moments make me really
happy. And that's what I love about
weekends. No plan, no goal, just the
feeling of being present and peaceful.
Maybe your day today was normal. Maybe
it was busy. But no matter what kind of
day you had, I hope you find something
small that makes you smile. Thank you so
much for listening today. If you enjoyed
this episode, please give it a thumbs
up, share it with your friends, and
subscribe so you won't miss the next
one. See you next time.

All right. Now, let's take a moment to
learn some useful vocabulary related to
today's topic. These words will make it
easier for you to follow our
conversation and use them in real life.
The first word of today is routine. It
means the usual way you do things every
day. Example, I like having a morning
routine that helps me start the day
calmly.
The next word is snooze. It means to
sleep for a short time after the alarm
rings.
Example, I hit the snooze button every
morning because I want five more minutes
of sleep.
The next word is task. It means a piece
of work that you need to do.
Example, I start my day by finishing
small tasks like checking emails.
The next word is relax. It means to rest
or do something calm after working or
feeling stressed.
Example, in the evening, I like to relax
by watching a show or doing yoga.
The last word is tidy up. It means to
make a place clean and organized.
Example, I tidy up my desk on weekends
to feel more focused and calm.
[Music]
All right, time to challenge yourself a
bit. Let's listen to the conversation
again. This time without subtitles. See
how much you can understand.
