University is the oldest university in

modern Germany and arguably the most

prestigious. Thanks to the university,

Hidlebeek is known for its cosmopolitan

and studentfriendly atmosphere. When you

are in Hidlebeck, you cannot skip this

castle. Helbear Castle is the most

famous building in the city and a

stunning mix of Gothic and Renaissance
