(upbeat music)
- [Clintus] Good morning.
How are you?
Same ol', same ol'?
Nothing changed?
- It's not as bad.
But my stomach
still hurts a little bit.
- [Clintus] Yeah,
you able to eat anything?
- Ate a little bit of this.
- [Clintus] Little bit.
Yeah, I know it's like everytime
you have a stomach bug and
you're throwing up everything
you try to eat something and it
always feels weird 'cause
it's like your
stomach's empty and sensitive.
Watching some of
Bryce's videos? Dude Perfect?
Off to the gym?
- Yeah.
- [Clintus] Tuesday ritual.
- Awfully close to you.
I've been kinda staying
on that side of the couch.
Okay, update on Sierra.
Ended up staying home today.
Just didn't feel comfortable
sending her off to school.
With not eating anything
yesterday she just needed
another day of rest
and energy and feel better.
She ate some of the
oatmeal and toast this morning
and then ate soup.
Appetite's coming back.
You actually asked
for soup and wanted it.
So, better, right?
You could be able to go
back to school tomorrow?
Yeah?
So, little update on the team.
Four girls ended up
getting it on the team
and head coach got it.
So almost half of the team.
But two of the girls weren't
even there on Saturday so they
didn't have a
chance to catch it.
So that's why they're okay and
then so four of the girls that
were there did not catch it.
Four did, four didn't.
So half and half.
So they asked the healthy,
non-sick assistant coach is
going to still do volleyball
tonight with the girls that
didn't catch it but they
asked for all the other girls,
Sierra, to stay home
just to get some more rest,
get it out of their system
and not spread it any more.
So hopefully everybody in the
whole team will be back to
normal which it sounds
like they are with that little
update today that everybody's on
the same exact path as Sierra.
Got it late Sunday, middle of
the night Sunday night and then
yesterday was their worst day
and definitely feeling better
today and eating
and keeping it down
so I think by Thursday your
team will be back to normal.
And then you get three practices
in before your big
three-day tournament.
Anything to say?
I talked a lot.
Nothing?
Just want my health.
She's getting bored.
She's looking at the Netflix
now after two days of sittin' in
this spot, she's like,
"I don't know what to watch."
It's like kids always ask to
stay home from school but
it's like, even Bryce
with his surgery,
after the second or
third day he was like,
"Okay, it's kinda boring."
'Cause his friends weren't home
so he didn't have anybody to
play video games with.
Back to normal tomorrow,
back to routine.
And this little girl.
You have a couch buddy? Huh?
- What's up guys?
Fast forward a few hours later.
Ended my stream a little early
to get out of the house.
Needed to get Tiffany's oil
changed so we got that in the
shop for the moment.
I walked across the
street over to Robek's.
Got me some green juice.
Tiffany and the kids are always
like (mimics throwing up),
"How do you like that?"
I enjoy some green juice.
It's got kale, it's got celery,
it's got lemon juice,
apples, for a little sweetness.
I think this one has ginger.
Good stuff and it's good for me.
I'm hoping that the oil change
is just about done 'cause I have
a call, a class if you will,
that I signed up for.
It's a video chat with YouTube
and some other YouTubers about
search and discovery.
I'm pretty excited about it.
Learn some stuff about YouTube.
And just as I was walking up,
I see the car getting pulled up.
I'm like, "Oh, sweet!
They are done, that's awesome!
"I have time to go
home and make my call."
But then I found out that they
didn't actually change my oil
because they don't carry the
oil filter that my car needs.
And last time Tiffany came here,
they did have the oil filter
'cause they got the oil changed
but they said they didn't
have the air filter.
So I bought the air
filter so I can change the air,
but now they're saying they
don't carry the oil filter.
So, mmmm, no oil change
which kinda sucks to feel
like I wasted my time.
And I actually didn't
get the task done that
I needed to get done.
But I got out of the house and
I got me some green juice
so not a complete loss.
So just a couple of things,
wanted to chat while we're
driving since,
you know, I got time to kill.
First and foremost,
we still need to sit down
and order the boxes,
order the
cardboard for the box fort.
Box fort will be happening
this weekend as far as I know.
All we have is Bryce's
basketball game Saturday morning
and then we have a
birthday party Sunday afternoon.
So I don't know if we're gonna
try and get it done on Saturday.
It all comes down to
when we order the boxes,
how long does it take
to get the boxes here.
That's what's gonna determine
when we do the box fort.
But box fort's coming,
I promise.
Second, had a really good
call today on my weekly call.
Every Tuesday morning I have a
call with some other full-time
YouTubers and
entrepreneurs and basically
every week one
person is in the hot seat
and brings up a topic
and then the roundtable kinda
discusses it,
gives it their thoughts.
It's very transparent,
it's confidential.
Obviously, we don't share
what we learn about
the other individuals.
But today was my hot seat and
I brought up a lot of the things
we've been talking about on
the vlogs the last couple weeks
regarding numbers being down
and changing up the vlogs,
changing up the content.
I had a lot of good
information sent my way.
A lot of good advice.
At the end of the call, the
feeling and the vibe that I got
at the end of it was I
need to make a radical change.
I need to shake things up.
I need to change
my content strategy.
I'm obviously not very happy
with where the channel is at the
moment and that's partially
because of what YouTube's done
but it's also that partially
that we're coming
to six years, guys.
Six years of daily vlogging
and my style and the way that
I produce these vlogs,
aren't necessarily,
I guess it's not a style
that people enjoy as much.
If you were to put my vlog
next to say 10 other vloggers,
my guess would be that my vlog
would be rated on the lower end
of creativity,
excitement and entertainment.
In my opinion,
that's my opinion.
You could disagree
with me and say,
"No, your vlogs are fine."
But like I said, if you were
to compare them to 10 other
vloggers similar to me.
With that being said, I've got
a lot of things to think about.
I have some ideas and this
requires me to really commit
and go all in 'cause
I go all in on things.
I don't do things
half-ass when I'm gonna go in.
And it's a little scary because
ultimately anything that
I decide to do is going to
radically change what I do and
I'm scared because if it
hurts my channel further,
that'd be the end.
That'd be the end.
I would definitely
have to go get a job.
So I have to think
about my strategy
and how I plan on doing it
and what I plan on
doing and go from there.
- [Bryce] Mommy?
This like towel--
(Tiffany roars)
- [Tiffany] (laughs)
Did I scare you?
- [Clintus] Someone's
a little excited.
- I am.
- [Bryce] But we're
not having tacos.
- I know.
- [Clintus] What are we having?
- Taco burrito bowls.
I mean whether it's a burrito
or a taco bowl but we always eat
'em with chips so I guess
that's more of like a taco bowl.
So come into my kitchen, please.
- [Clintus] Looky here.
She has the entire thing.
So you go over here.
The bowls
should be on that side.
You ruined it.
- [Tiffany] I messed up.
- [Clintus] You take the bowl,
you got the meat and the beans
and corn kinda mixture.
We got the cilantro lime rice.
And then you just go
down the buffet line.
- [Bryce] It's
actually like this.
Like the lettuce and guacamole
is at the end of Chipotle.
- [Clintus] Just like Chipotle.
Yeah, yeah.
I like it, I like it.
And Sierra's gonna
attempt to eat some.
Have you kept down
all your food all day?
Very little you've eaten.
- Yeah.
- [Clintus] What'd you have?
Soup and some
oatmeal this morning.
- Yeah.
- [Clintus] Yeah?
Any other snacks?
- [Tiffany] Grapes.
- [Clintus] Grapes, okay.
Cool. Bryce, how you doin', man?
- Good.
- [Clintus] How was school?
- Good.
- [Clintus] Yeah?
- Oh yeah,
the running club teacher
today she said that I'm the
league leader so I have the
most laps out of everyone.
- [Clintus] You
had the most laps?
Awesome, dude.
- 49.
- [Clintus] 49 laps?
- In five, four?
- Maybe six days.
- [Clintus] So, okay if
you do four laps are a mile,
so you're about 10 laps?
10 miles. 11, 12.
Yeah, 12 miles.
You ran 12 miles.
That's awesome, dude.
- Yeah, so second
place is like 48,
third place has
47 and I have 49.
- [Clintus] Very nice,
very nice.
So I just got a text message
from my brother, Travis.
Viola, Viola
from Burger King
mistaked him for me.
Was like, "Wait, you
have a YouTube channel?"
And of course,
my brother's like,
"No, that's my brother."
But a shout out to Viola for
basically thinking that my
brother was me in saying hi.
You would have
said hi if it was me.
Just remember Viola,
I've got the grey in the beard.
Travis doesn't have the grey.
I'm the old one.
(laughs) Not yet, right.
Yeah, yeah.
And the beard's
actually pretty long you guys.
Didn't realize how long
this is. Look at this.
It's about an inch long.
Over an inch if I, obviously my
finger doesn't go all the way.
Yeah, I started pulling it
down and combing it out and
it's actually pretty long.
So, we were talking about it on
stream today how the days of the
beard are numbered because
Tiffany's completely over it.
And I'm kinda just
getting bored with it.
Just kinda like eh but
it's actually pretty long.
- [Bryce] What the heck?
It's long.
- So part of me's like
I want to keep growing it,
see how long I can go.
But I don't know, we'll see.
- [Bryce] You're
gonna be like 5tat.
- I'm a beard-o that's for sure.
Alright, we wrapped up with
our awesome taco bowl dinner.
Bryce is out back
shootin' some hoops.
His practice got
canceled tomorrow night
so no practice tomorrow.
Sierra's practice got canceled
because she's sick and a lot of
the girls on the team are sick.
So Bryce is out
here shootin' some hoops.
Sierra's feeling better.
She's outside and
she's hanging out.
Where you at?
There you are. Whoop.
And we were actually just
discussing some YouTube stuff.
I've actually had quite
a few YouTube calls
and conversations this week.
Friday was my partner manager,
this morning was with the
mastermind group.
I just got off the phone with a
YouTube group about
search and discovery.
I have another one tomorrow, oh!
Did it go in the poop?
No? You're so silly.
I don't know why you don't pick
up poo every time you come out
here to play basketball.
You are literally gonna fall in
there one of these days and your
hand's gonna go right into it.
There's poop right there.
He's like, "I'm just gonna
play basketball right here.
"No big deal."
Yeah, I just had another call
about search and discovery and
then tomorrow I have one
with working with brands.
Which that one's kinda like meh.
I'm just curious about what
YouTube has to say about that,
officially YouTube.
But we were just talking
about YouTube and how,
you guys
already know this stuff.
Change is coming.
We're working on some things,
we're thinking
about some things.
And the box fort's just the
first step towards that but...
- [Sierra] I'm
excited about that.
It's gonna be fun.
- Right, I know.
A lot of you guys are.
March 31st marks six years.
Yeah, they see your taco.
March 31st guys,
six years of daily vlogging.
I'm gonna try
and make it that far.
I'm letting you
guys know right now.
I'm already thinking
about things next week,
two weeks from now.
I was told today that I should
just stop daily vlogging right
now and take a week off and
make changes and
it's like I'm scared.
We're scared 'cause this is what
we've been doing for six years.
So all I can say right now is
I'm gonna try and make it to
that six year mark just to say,
"I made it six years," which is
exactly the
conversation we had last year.
Trying to make it to five years.
- And now, it's almost six.
- And now it's almost six.
You know?
Change is coming.
I just don't
know what it is yet.
So stay tuned.
Look, I don't
want to scare anyone.
I'm not alarming anyone and I
do listen to you guys especially
that 20,000 that we've
talked about in the past.
The hardcore, right,
the Clintus Clan if you will.
But like I said, business savvy
you got to do what is right for
me and the
family and the business.
I don't think I could
sustainably produce an awesome
vlog seven days a week.
Our life just
isn't that exciting.
The more I think about it,
I feel like a
radical change might
be better than a subtle change.
We're trying the subtle change,
we're gonna try the subtle
change but I'm already thinking
ahead and thinking that a
dramatic change, a shock,
would be better for
me and for you so
I got to think that through,
figure that out.
Anyways, it's Tuesday night,
normal time for me to jump
online and do a
nighttime stream.
Gonna play with some friends
and have some good times.
If you ever wanna catch me
live, Twitch.tv/Clintus I stream
Monday through Friday at 9 A.M.
Pacific Standard Time
and then Tuesdays,
Thursdays and Fridays
by 6 P.M. or 5 P.M.
Pacific Standard Time.
- [Man] Five hours later.
- Wrapped up my night stream.
Good times playing some
PUBG with my buddy McCarty.
And I'm gonna call it a night.
Thanks for watching.
See you guys tomorrow for
another day and another vlog.
