I don't know why it happened, what sparked it,

but recently when anyone asks a question in YouTube comments,

what is, I don't know, the song in the video,

the answer is always "Darude - Sandstorm."

Every single comment in my videos, on my livestreams is,

"What was that song he was playing at the start of it?"

"Darude - Sandstorm."

I thought it was a couple people and I'm like,

"Okay, this guy's a little confused."

And then when I realized a hundred other people

were just as easily confused, I'm like,

"Okay, they're not confused. They're doing this for a reason."

I think it was funny the first one hundred times.

Now it's just kind of expected.

(Finebros) Well, it's called "Sandstorm", by Darude.

Is that what that is?!

Oh my god!!!

This is what all my comments have been about?

(Finebros) Well, according to internet lore--

Start every sentence with that.

(Finebros) The song was used as a background track

during someone's League of Legend's livestream.

Livestreams. There you go.

(Finebros) And it resulted in a lot of people asking,

"What song is that?"

Long story short, now it's a meme that whenever someone asks,

"What song is that?" in the comments of a video...

They say "Darude - Sandstorm".

- (Finebros) Yes. - I've seen that!

Now it's all coming together.

Who knew that watching that would clear something up.

Really?

I don't know how I don't know this.

The Internet is so weird! Everyone, get outside.

I remember the first time I saw it.

I was so confused because everyone was in on this joke

and I wasn't in on the joke.

I'm happy that I'm inside the joke now

because if I hadn't seen all that go down,

I'd be like, "Excuse me, no it's not."

(Finebros) Not only that, it's morphed and people just leave the comment now.

I guarantee you, you will find "Darude - Sandstorm" on your own videos

because people just leave the comment everywhere.

It was actually my introduction to techno music,

so it holds a place near and dear to my heart

and I feel that a lot of people who are commenting

don't necessarily respect that history.

and then people were just really confused.

It's too much power.

It's way too much power for one group of people.

Half of me thinks it's so weird and the Internet's so weird,

but then again, I would be one maybe to buy into this

because it's funny.

I think it's cool that the Internet can-- and interesting that the Internet

can make a thing that's kind of old resurface.

It shows you the power of the collective hive mind,

of the YouTube comments section.

It's just crazy, man, how the smallest, most random thing

can just become this monster.

I think it's really cool that someone can just type something

and then it just sends people into weirdness.

(Finebros) Finally, it is not just used as a comment troll.
