Thousands of Trees in Shanghai
This urban mountain, known as the "Shanghai Sky Garden", is covered with trees. Its design is inspired by the idea that architecture
should exist in harmony with nature rather than dominate it.
Hundreds of trees and thousands of plants grow on different levels of the building.
These tree species have been carefully selected to bloom in different seasons, giving
the building an ever-changing appearance.
Goupi Beach Boat Lift This massive piece of infrastructure
was designed to make river navigation possible in mountainous areas with dramatic altitude changes.
It enables cargo and passenger ships to span
the altitude difference between the two sections of the Wujiang River. The ship passes through a tunnel carved
into the mountain, which is connected to an artificial waterway that leads directly to the ship lift.
The vessel enters a chamber filled with water, the water level slowly rising or falling, connecting
once isolated areas. Drone Shows
These spectacles are marvels of engineering, programming and robotics:

The Qinghai-Tibet Railway connects
Xining, the capital of Qinghai Province, and Lhasa, the capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region.
It is the world's highest railway,

At such altitudes, oxygen is thin, so train cars are pressurized and
equipped with extra oxygen to protect passengers from altitude sickness.

Halo Shopping Center
Located in Chongqing, this high-end shopping mall is lined with green trees and has excellent visual effects.
It is designed to resemble a futuristic jungle under a glass dome,
with trees growing on suspended platforms.
On the first floor, visitors can visit the water garden with ponds, rocks and real subtropical plants.
Each season brings a new theme: sometimes it's a Jurassic landscape with dinosaurs,
sometimes it's the sky with hanging balloons. Qingdao Bay Bridge
This bridge connects Qingdao and Huangdao and is one of the longest cross-sea bridges in the world.
Its Y-shaped design branches to connect several parts of the city.
The bridge includes six lanes and a central emergency lane.
It has a service life of at least a century, uses materials that are resistant to marine
corrosion, and is built on the high seas known for strong winds.
Thousands of steel and concrete piles anchored to the seabed support the entire span.
FAST, located in the mountainous
province of Guizhou, is the largest and most sensitive radio telescope on Earth.
Its huge antenna can receive signals from distant galaxies, stars, pulsars, and even

signals as weak as a cellphone signal on Jupiter or one emitted by a galaxy 130
billion light-years away. Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor
Considered one of the world's most challenging cross-sea projects, this massive project
connects two major cities in the Pearl River Delta: Shenzhen and Zhongshan.
It stretches 49 kilometers (30.44 miles) and is a collection of tunnels, bridges and artificial islands.
The area is known for its fast currents, variable tides and heavy maritime traffic,
which makes construction using floating cranes and vessels particularly difficult.
One of the artificial islands has an entrance to an underwater tunnel,
where vehicles can drive in at high speeds without the need for steep ramps.
The tunnel descends gradually and contains critical operating systems, including ventilation
and traffic control equipment. Guangzhou Circle
This skyscraper stands on the banks of the Pearl River,
breaking all traditions of vertical architecture. It is the world's tallest circular building, standing 138 meters (approximately 453 feet) high and with 33 floors.

Three Gorges Dam The world's largest hydropower station
is located on the Yangtze River. The power station was completed in 2003 and the entire construction took

and today generates approximately 2% of China's total energy consumption.
There are two parallel locks on the north side of the dam.

Three Gorges Ship Lift The dam is also equipped with

Historically, cliffs served as natural ramparts, protecting communities from invaders.

This highway connects the two cities of Ya'an and Xichang, passing through
towering mountains and deep canyons. It's known as the "Heavenly Road," and drivers often

no sharp turns. The line leads to

Fuxing Train The Fuxing Train is considered
China's most advanced high-speed train. It
maintains speed and performance in any weather condition - from scorching heat and cold to wind, rain, and snow.
Its punctuality is amazing: even on long journeys,
the punctuality is within 10 seconds.
In Guangxi, this line connects once-isolated cities.
In order to ensure the constant speed of the train, engineers built a large number of viaducts
and mountain tunnels to avoid sharp turns and steep terrain.
Wuhan suspended monorail train, also known as sky train,
runs under the elevated track. It is China's first
monorail to be powered entirely by electricity and is designed to provide convenient passenger transportation in congested urban areas.

The Xiaolangdi Dam is used to control the

The world's first road through the ever-moving desert.
The Taklimakan Desert was once known as the "place of never looking back",
it was almost impenetrable in ancient times. Maintaining a road across shifting sand dunes
requires groundbreaking solutions that few countries can achieve.
To strengthen the road, thousands of shrubs and trees were planted on both sides as part of
an ecological barrier to prevent sand erosion. Danquinte Bridge
The longest bridge in the world, stretching 165 kilometers, approximately 103 miles.
It connects the two cities of Danyang and Kunshan and spans part of the Yangtze River Delta.
As a continuous viaduct, it allows high-speed trains to cross rivers,
fields and obstacles without interruption.
Approximately 10,000 workers completed the bridge in less than four years,

Duge Bridge This bridge spans

blends modern architecture with natural landscaping and avoids towering skyscrapers.
It is designed as a smart city, with streets, squares, gardens,
artificial lakes and shared work spaces. The buildings are connected by elevated walkways and covered paths
and are named "Taobao Tower" and "Alibaba Center".
Beijing Daxing International Airport Nicknamed "Starfish", this modern airport located in southern Beijing
aims to relieve pressure on the city's main hub.
The curved corridor extends outward from the center,
which is both beautiful and can improve the efficiency of passenger flow. The
airport can handle up to 100 million passengers per year,
potentially becoming the busiest airport in the world.
Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is the longest cross-sea bridge in the world.
This huge project connects the three cities of Hong Kong, Macau and Zhuhai.
It combines a cross-sea bridge, an underwater tunnel and an artificial island, and was built in
an earthquake-prone area. Underwater tunnels are built to
enable the free passage of ships without interfering with maritime traffic.
In order to connect the above-water and underwater parts, two artificial islands

China Central Television Headquarters Building This massive architectural sculpture subverts
all the rules of traditional skyscraper design. The two sloping towers are connected by a horizontal

The connecting bridge was fully assembled before being lifted into its final position,

Galaxy SOHO In Beijing, this massive
