I would love to go to Comic-Con, though.
That's like the safe haven
of nerd culture.
- I was at Comic-Con.
I've been going for the past,
like, six years.
And every year, it gets busier and busier.
And more companies
bring more and more stuff.
- I was only about to go for one day,
but it was the funnest day of my life.
I cosplayed as Clementine
from the Walking Dead Telltale Game.
Like, they put me on their
Instagram, and I just-- I cried.
It's everything I love, because
it's movies, TV, game, comics.
And it's just-- it's literally heaven.
- Oh my god. Okay. Let's go. I'm ready.
- (man) I hope you got
your shitting pants on.
- Is this The Walking Dead?
- Did Chelsea freak out at this?

It's all like-- feels like
an action movie.

of this comparing it to the first episode
when he wakes up in the hospital.
- This might've just convinced
me to check it out.
- I'm gonna be mad
if they make it all a dream.
I'm not sure what this is about yet.
- (FBE) So the end of the trailer
with Rick seemingly older
has some fans speculating about
a possible time jump happening.
Do you want The Walking Dead to do this?
- Honestly, I think that'd be cool.
I think that would add
some spice to the show.
- Since you're on the seventh season,
they gotta do something new and innovative
to keep fans involved
and bring something new.
He posted something that Rick
will not make it to the end.
And now I'm just scared.

But this released,
and people are going crazy.
So do you think the show
can live up to the hype?

Hands down, I'm gonna be
watching season two,
because it looks so insane.
- There's just something so...
nostalgic about the first season.
I really hope they carry
that feeling into season two.

to the next level.
Like, it's definitely bringing
that boom factor now.
I've heard really good things about it.
I haven't really watched all of it.
But after that, that made me
want to watch it.
- I think the Duffer Brothers
know what they're doing,
and they know how
to play off of that hype.
And they know how to build it
and keep the suspense going.
And I think it's gonna be
even better than the first season.

obviously the internet exploded.
- Of course, yeah. It's amazing.

in a completely different direction
than other, like, MCU film.
- That's kind of what it seems like.
- (FBE) So where do you think
that Thor ranks for you
in terms of the Marvel movies?
- I've never seen it,
so that's where it ranks.
- Which is so weird, 'cause
I've seen all of them, like, twice.
- It ranks in the middle.
I just love the Thor and Loki
dynamic, because--
especially if you have siblings.
- He's definitely in my top three.
And I think Thor himself, like,
tying in with the universes
and he's a key part of explaining
how everything is connected
with all the heroes.
It helps connect the Marvel Universe
into a bigger sphere
than just Earth.

before I read the book.

are talking about this book.

I'd love to be in a game, you know?
I'd love to be the main character."
- (FBE) Ready Player One
is based on a 2011 novel
but it currently being
brought to the big screen
by Steven Spielberg.
- Mm-hmm.
- (gasps) Ooh, even better.
- I had no idea this was coming.
And I had no idea
I was gonna be so excited
so something so random.
- (FBE) Well, some people geeked out
seeing so many references.
But there's also worry that
it's just a mash of nerd culture
and will be pandering too much.
What do you think?
- Um, maybe geeking a little too much,
'cause in the end, you want
to make a film that's recognizable
for your own characters
and your own story,
not necessarily because
other licensed characters
were in the film.
- Having that many references in there
is gonna make it such a good movie,
'cause everybody can find
something to relate to.
- I'm so down, because
one of the coolest things.
And I think that's what people love
about those little mods they do.
Is where they bring other characters,
and they bring 'em together
and just kinda interact with them.
And now we have an actual movie about it.
- I'm geeking out, just 'cause
it's the perfect opportunity
for so many little Easter eggs and cameos.
And if they play it right
and balance it correctly,
it's gonna be amazing.

- When I heard about this, I lost it,

I think that's so CRAZY.

- With this, they're gonna
do a good job with it.
But it always gives you that fear of like,
"Okay, well, I don't want you
to ruin something
something that I knew
was something super good."
- '90s Nick, I honestly
don't think people realize
how [bleep] weird it was.
- (FBE) San Diego Comic-Con is massive,
and all of entertainment
goes there to premiere new stuff.
When you see all the hype,
does it make you want to go?
Or does it not matter,
since they release the footage
usually immediately anyway?
- I feel like it's
a better experience to go.
I want to experience that,
just to be able to say,
"I was there when they decided,
'Hey, we're gonna release the trailer
for Stranger Things season two.'"
Like, I would've lost my mind.
- Comic books are so extensive
that it's always really
interesting to, like,
get to watch someone
talk about what you're reading
because they created it.
And so it's super cool.
And I'd love to go to panels
that talk about, you know,
upcoming stories and things like that.
So that's what I would do at Comic-Con.
- I feel like it's more
than just, you know,
trailer premieres and stuff like that.
Like, it's a whole experience
that you can immerse yourself in.
So I would definitely love to go.
- There's so many people
and so much to do.
I only went one day, and that's
why I could not see anything.
I could not even get into a panel.
- I love Comic-Con,
despite the fact that I feel
like it's just getting
hectic and stressful.
And there's just something
so fun about being there
and being the first
to see it and being like,
"I was in the presence of Gal Gadot
when the Justice League trailer came out."
- I would love to go
and walk around the floor
and meet cool people and see cool costumes
and designs and stuff like that.
But I don't want to wait
in a 12-hour line to see a clip
that I can watch on YouTube
six hours from then.
But I would love to just
go walk around the floor
and just be at Comic-Con.
