앵무 로봇

경비 로봇 이상한 책들이네

아니 어떻게 나왔지

바로 그때 누군가가 큰 소리로

말하면서 새들 주변으로 큰 그물을

던졌어요 어서 도망가자 다른 새들은

그물에 잡혔지만 책을 읽고 있던 오리

한 마리만 다행히 그물에 잡히지

않았어요

오리는 혼자서 하얀 탑에서 나와 뒤도

보지 않고 최고 속도로 날았어요

탑에서 충분히 멀리 왔다고 생각했을

때 오리는 앞에 보이는 나무 속에

숨었어요

여기서 조금만 기다리다가 밤이

되면 다시 돌아가서 모두를 구하자

하지만 먼 길을 날아온 오리는 너무

피곤해서 깜빡 잠이 들었어요

그리고 몇 시간 뒤에 눈을 뜨니까

몸이 이렇게 최고로 변해 있었어

책 오리는 긴 이야기를 마쳤어요

잠깐 탑 안에 파란 색 개가 있다고

하지 않았어?

삽살이가 깜짝 놀라서 말했어요

응 맞아 그 안에 새들 말고는 파란색

진돗개 한마리 밖에 없었어

진이다

진이랑 새들은 하얀 탑으로 잡혀

가는 거야

삽살이와 핑이는 큰 소리로

말했어요

당장 가서 모두를 구하자 핑이

원정대가 간다~ 뭐야

담비 원당대라고 하자

삽살이 원정대가 더 좋지 않아 완전

이상해

우리는 진이를 구해야 하니까

진이 원정대라고 부르자 좋아 진이

나의 첫 우주선 핑이의 핑퐁호

삽살이는 핑이의 우주선을 보고

크게 웃었어요

뭐야 이거

우주선이 아니고 세탁기잖아

세탁기가 뭐야?

담비는 삽살이의 말이 이해가

안 됐던 표정을 지었어요

얘들아 시간이 없어 빨리 터자~ 핑이

가 말했어요

이거 진짜 날 수 있는 거 맞아?

삽살이는 핑의 말을 믿을 수

우주까지는 못 가지만 저 벽은 쉽게

넘을 수 있어

핑이가 버튼을 몇 개 누르니까 핑

퐁호는 반짝반짝 빛을 내기 시작했어요

그럼 출발한다

모두 꽉 잡아 핑이는 큰 소리로

어디를 잡아야 돼 우리 진짜 하늘로

하늘로 떠 올랐어요

날아간다

하늘로 떠오른 핑퐁호는 벽을 넘어

도시 안으로 들어갔어요

주머니에 깃털이 있는 옷을 입은 남자

우주선은

다시 타지 않을 거야 어 저기 하얀

탑이 보인다 똑같이 생긴 건물들

사이로 하얀 탑이 보였어요

하얀 탑으로 가는 길에는 사람들도

많이 보였어요

다들 어디 가세요?

몰라 말 걸지마 대답을 하기

위해서는 생각을 해야 되잖아

진이원정 되는 아무것도 안하는 사람

들을 지나 하얀 탑으로 갔어요

네가 먼저 올라가서 줄을 내려 줄게

단비는 나무타기 실력을 이용해서 탑에

높은 곳까지 올라갔어요

그리고 핑이와 삽살이를 위해서 줄을

내려 줬어요 빨리 올라와 조심해

저기 트럭이 나간다

발밑을 보니까 하얀 트럭이 무언가를

가득 싣고 밖으로 나오고 있었어요

아무도 없는 것 같지

내가 지난번에 왔을 때보다 새들이

많이 사라졌네

아까 그 트럭에 실어 갔나 봐

진이는 아직 여기 있을까?

우선 진이를 찾은 다음에 아직

남아있는 새들이 있으면 그 새들도

구하자

그런데 바로 그 때 으르렁 소리가

들렸어요

방 안의 빨간 불이 들어오고 경비로

무엇이 나타났어요

경비로 못은 진이 원정대를 보면서

으르렁 소리를 냈어요

어~ 저거

진이 아니야?

진아

나야 삽살이

너를 구하려고 왔어

하지만 머리에 기계를 쓰고 있는

진이는 삽살이를 전혀 알아보지

못하고 큰 조리로 짖었어요

진아 왜 그래

우리를 못 알아보는 것 같아

바로 그때 어디선가 큰 그물이

나왔어요

그리고 진이 뒤에서 주머니에 깃털이

있는 옷을 입은 남자가 나타났어요

아니 넌 그 책도 뜨기잖아 스스로

여기 다시 돌아왔어 잘됐다

그 남자는 앵무 로봇과 목소리가

똑같았어요

그때 핑이에 맞는 도구 가방 속에서

하얀 공이 또르르 나왔어요

삽살이가 며칠 전에 본 그 머리뼈

왔어요

머리뼈 잖아

삽살이가 조심히 머리뼈를 집어든

순간 갑자기 하얀 머리뼈에서 빛이

나기 시작했어요

그리고 그날 밤에 삽살이가 본 빛나는

동물들이 나타났어요

으르렁

이빨 고양이는 그물을 끊었어요

큰나무 동물은 기계들과 새장 문을

부셨어요

아니 이것들은 다 뭐야

긴 깃털 새는 발로 남자를 잡아

올려서 창문 밖으로 날아 갔어요

아~ 나 좀 내려나

하얀 탑 안에 기계들이 깨지고 고장

나니까 새장 안에 새들이 입안에서

작은 칩들을 토했어요

진이의 머리에서도 기계가 떨어지고

진이가 원래 모습으로 돌아 왔어요

진아

괜찮아?

근데 여기가 어디야?

무슨 일이 일어난 거야? 나중에 얘기해

줄게

빨리 나가자

진이와 친구들은 하얀 탑에서 나와

동네로 향했어요

그런데 책 오리는 왜 원래 모습으로

돌아오지 않지

어떡하지

다른 방법을 찾아보자

그래도 진이를 안전하게 잘 구해서

다행이야

그리고 책 날개도 꽤 멋있지 않아

책 오리도 친구들과 함께 동네로

향했어요

로봇들은 이제 다 사라졌어요

이제 로봇 말을 안 들어도 돼요

모두 집으로 돌아가세요

사람들은 아무 말 없이 움직이지 않고
