to share some of my highlights and lessons 02:37
from the first half of the year. 02:38
So a big highlight that just happened was 02:40
I took a month off to travel in Asia, 02:43
and I've been sharing vlogs about it. 02:46
There are a couple more vlogs to come 02:48
but I basically had a girls trip 02:50
with some of my friends in Korea. 02:52
I did a solo trip for a week. 02:54
A little bit like couple days in Korea. 02:56
And a week in China. 02:58
And then I spent time with my dad in Shanghai 02:59
who I have not seen in 6 years. 03:02
And my relationship with my dad 03:04
had a lot of difficult rocky moments. 03:06
It's the most difficult  relationship of my life basically. 03:09
But this trip really helped heal and 03:12
kind of tie up loose ends in a lot of ways for me. 03:16
So emotionally and in my personal life 03:20
I felt like I overcame something really big. 03:23
And it's a personal mountain that I climbed. 03:26
And so that's something that I'm really proud of. 03:30
It's a highlight as well as a big win for me. 03:32
Other wins from this year I felt like I spent more 03:36
time with family and friends. My brother 03:39
moved back home recently so I've been 03:42
spending more time with my brother and 03:44
my mom. And in terms of career I feel like 03:46
I've been heading in new directions this year 03:49
not just starting but really just like in motion 03:53
for a lot of projects. 03:55
I'm working on my book. 03:57
I got a literary agent and I'm  just in the motions of that. 03:58
I've been working on an app concept 04:02
that I've mentioned with you guys. 04:04

So I've been doing these long-term 04:10
behind-the-scenes projects 04:13
that are kind of big projects 04:14
that take sometime before 04:16
I can really like talk about it or 04:18
show you guys anything. 04:20
So I feel like I've been  working a lot behind the scenes. 04:22
But I've also been more creatively inspired 04:24
since I got back from my trip. 04:27
So I'm more inspired to make more content. 04:29
I'm trying to show up more on social media. 04:32
Like on Instagram, trying to post more. 04:35
And so that's kind of what the first half of my year has been. 04:38
I just remembered another win 04:41
definitely worth mentioning here is that 04:43
I had two videos on this channel hit 10M views 04:45
pretty much around the same time. 04:49
So the top two videos are 04:50
my 5 minute morning meditation and 04:52
my positive affirmations for self-love. 04:54
That's just a cool little win because 04:57
I never thought that that would happen. 04:59
Especially on a meditation and affirmations videos 05:01
because those videos were so like not mainstream 05:04
when I started making them. 05:07
It was just like a weird little test on my channel 05:09
that just happened to become like 05:13
the biggest type of content on my channel 05:14
over these years. So that's pretty cool. 05:17
I feel like everyone's leveling up consciously 05:19
with their mindset. 05:22
Just everyone is just doing it. 05:23
And I'm really proud of everyone who are doing 05:25
those meditations and affirmations. 05:28
So thank you for supporting. 05:30
One thing that I've learned recently for myself 05:31
is to stop overthinking 05:34
and to stop allowing my mind to get so scattered 05:36
and so distracted by the content that I consume. 05:40
I really realize that the more content I consume 05:44
the more I just read what's out there, 05:47
the more confused and distracted 05:49
and scattered that I feel. 05:51
And so if I really want to be focused 05:53
and feel clarity, I just have to just turn inward, 05:56
meditate and find the answers within. 06:00
The answers are not outside of me. 06:03
The answers are in here. 06:04
And that's what I am reminded by. 06:06
And another thing that I have learned about myself 06:08
is that I feel my best when 06:11
I am doing something creative every day. 06:13
So I'm just reminding myself 06:16
to not overthink things and just create. 06:17
It doesn't matter what I'm working on. 06:21
Whether I'm working on a video, 06:22
a book or the app or this, 06:23
just anything, music, as long  as I'm doing something creative 06:25
that is like a very positive fulfilling way 06:30
to pour my energy out and 06:33
I don't really have to judge what comes out 06:35
of my creativity. It's just I have to focus on 06:37
just doing it just creating and keeping 06:40
that energy flowing. 06:43
That's what feels best for me 06:44
In terms of alignment towards my dream life. 06:46
I rate myself at a nine because 06:49
I really really love my life and I feel like 06:51
I'm in a good place. 06:54
I can't complain. 06:55
I am on the path to creating my dream life. 06:56
I'm not all the way there but 06:59
a lot of aspects of my life are there. Right? 07:00
I have this career that I love. 07:03
I'm able to be creative. 07:05
I'm able to have freedom of time and location. 07:07
Like literally me taking off a month to travel 07:10
and to not work that's that's like a pretty long 07:13
that's the longest I've done it in a while. 07:17
And to be able to do that freely 07:19
and still keep things going. 07:21
I'm just very grateful to be  able to be at this point in life. 07:23
You know took me a while  to build it but here I am. 07:26
So I'm very proud of that. 07:29
But what would it take to get to a 10 is 07:31
I still feel like I have these negative habits 07:34
that I fall back into. 07:36
I'm not the best with not eating sweets, right? 07:38
I like to eat healthy but I love my sweets. 07:41
And that's not good for me. 07:44
For me it's like the health and fitness goals 07:46
that I tend to always feel like 07:49
I'm going back and forth with. 07:51
And also the fact that 07:53
I allow my mind to get scattered and distracted. 07:54
So I'm really working on honing it and 07:57
I feel really good this past week. 08:00
But you know, this first half of the year 08:03
I did struggle with that. 08:05
But you know, we're all a work in progress 08:07
and it's okay. Nobody's perfect. 08:09
We all have our flaws and  weaknesses and our crutches. 08:11
But we are here. 08:14
As long as we keep trying another day. 08:16
Each day is an opportunity to take 08:18
that positive step towards our dream life. 08:20

from the first half of the year.
So a big highlight that just happened was
I took a month off to travel in Asia,
