hey guys today is a very special day it

is the oneyear anniversary of my first

video so I figured today was a good day

to make a grilled cheese because that

was my first video and while we do that

I'll tell you about how all this started

okay so for context I have always loved

cooking some of my Fondest Memories are

making wontons and musab bees with my

grandparents so it's been a pretty

important part of my life for a long

time so last March I got the opportunity

to participate in a Joshua wisman video

and it was an absolutely incredible

experience I got to meet some incredible

people and made friends with people who

I otherwise wouldn't have had the chance

to meet so that's the situation I'm down

in Houston my fiance is with me and

there's there's like seven or eight of

us um who are there to be extras in this

video and and after filming the video uh

Josh took the time to talk to us so

we're all excited he's he's signing his

cookbook he's talking to all of us it's

a great time and then I got a chance to

talk to him one-on-one and that is when

I told him that I I enjoy cooking I

enjoy making jokes and entertaining

people um but I I didn't know if I could

do this so we talk about it and more or

less it was if this is something you

really want I think you can do this and

honestly that's all it took which sounds

really minuscule cuz like it's one

person telling me hey I think you do

this but like you have to think of it in

the sense of this was something that is

seemed out of my realm it didn't seem

like something I could do and then this

guy who I've looked up to for a number

of years says hey I I think you can do

this and I encourage you to do it if you

want to so for me that was huge in a lot

of ways like like it's because of Josh

that I was brave enough to start and

like most things honestly the hardest

part is starting anyway so after that

conversation I I decided this is it I'm

going to do it and I filmed the next day

and the first thing I filmed was grilled

cheese and in a lot of ways it is one of

the most embarrassing videos but it's

also one that I'm probably the most

proud of because it was the hardest one

to make I hadn't made a video before so

I really had no idea what I was doing so

if you'd like to go back and watch the

cringe but also like one of my proudest

Moments by all means now I will tell you

since starting filming videos I've loved

it ever since that said it is also one

of the most difficult things I've done

um and it sounds weird because when you

think about it it's like oh you're just

like cooking and making a video and

putting it on the internet but like it's

it's a lot more than that there's a lot

of different aspects that go into this

that are costs and not just monetary

costs and those have and will continue

to take a toll and quite honestly there

have been two times I can think of that

I was ready to quit which leads me to

more people I couldn't do this without

those two times I was going to quit it

is only because I have the support of

two absolutely incredible people Cole

and Matt those two guys have been Absol

Ely incredible at at supporting me in

times where I I really didn't know what

to do and then of course there's my

fiance who is my biggest supporter and

who was given up just as much as I have

for this stream so thank you babe I love

you and that support is the long-term

support but when it comes to the

day-to-day that's where you guys come in

I cannot put into words how much it

means to me when you guys watch these

videos and enjoy them when you guys tell

me that you you made these recipes for

your friends and family and they have

enjoyed them and honestly those are the

things that daytoday make all the

difference
