Earth. Our home,

this is where it all began. Humanity's birthplace.

As time progressed, so did our technology, our ambition

faster than light travel put the entire galaxy at our fingertips.

We expanded. We colonized new worlds,

built cities and gathered new resources. Finally,

the people of Earth were at peace and worked together as one we prospered

like never before.

I am Captain John Lee.

I'm a part of a small group of elite warriors.

They call us Immortals.

We descend from a warrior tribe of ancient origin and have learned to adapt our

fighting traditions to humanity's technological advancement.

We are now the best soldiers humanity has to offer.

All we know is war. We are humanity's shield.

A rebellion broke out in the outer colonies.

They formed an army called the Federation.

They began a destructive and violent conquest against all who stood in their

way. Their mission is to rid the universe of everything Earthborn.

Then out of the chaos, he arrived.

We lost contact with a research outpost.

We sent a small team of Immortals to find out what happened.

But what they found changed everything.

His name is Ares.

He's the most powerful man we have ever faced.

The product of fire and blood. Their leader,

Ares discovered an other worldly artifact and with it power to ship

capable of destroying entire fleets. Now he is headed to Earth.

Now is the time to fight or die.

This is our final stand.

Listen up. The artifact is on that capital ship.

It's being used to power that laser.

We need to board it and deactivate or destroy the artifact before that ship

can destroy our whole fleet.

- Fire the weapon.

- Find the artifact, and shut the weapon down. He's mine.

- Earth is weak.

It won't be long before your planet and its people

are destroyed. - We are stronger than you think.

- So ignorant just like the rest of your people.

- You underestimate us. - The people of Earth are blind.

They think they rule the galaxy.

They think they are the top above everybody else,

but you are all just pathetic, mortal humans.

I am a God. I will rule you all.

- We'll see about that.

- You are just as I predicted.

Even the greatest soldiers Earth has to offer are nothing but meal for me.

The same as everybody else. Just like the rest of your people,

you are weak and undisciplined.

They will all kneel before me or be crushed.

I will rule over this galaxy and no one will challenge

my power.

I am a God and I will gain

immortality. I will rule forever.

- Not on my watch.

- Sir. We are working on disabling the artifact and stopping this weapon.

- I'll finish up here. The rest of you clear the way back to the shuttle.

- Copy that sir.

- Damn it. The ship has been rigged to instantly self-destruct

if the artifact is removed, there is no other way.

It has to be destroyed to save Earth.

- But Sir.

- They need every last one of you.

Earth has been good to me and it's time I paid her back.

Now get going.

- It's been an honor, Sir.

- Your sacrifice brought a swift end to the seat in our home.

There is now peace once again throughout the galaxy.

Our victory. Your victory was so close.

Your body is lost,

but you gave your courage to us and with it we can begin again.

Be at peace now my brother and rest well.

live to fight another day. Nobody is born on purpose,

nor are they given a purpose.

They must find their own way, their own path,

and they must forge their own destiny. And above all else,
