[Music] Hi guys,   00:00
welcome back to my little channel ! To continue about the traveling topic to Singapore 00:28
which I already did in 2023 with the process  was exactly like my rehearsal traveling video. 00:33
You can find the previous video in my Channel  or to click the link or the description below. 00:40
My Swifties little girl will travel to Singapore  with her friend in their both first time.  00:46
I'm a little bit worried, so I'll try to make  this video as detailed as possible for you guys.  00:52
Also, this video will have some specific  guides for the Travelers who travel to   00:59
Singapore to join the Eras tour  of Taylor Swift on March 2024,   01:04
especially for those who travel  to Singapore for the first time.  01:10
Here is a checklist I designed based on my  latest trip. You guys totally can use this   01:14
for double check before your self-planned trip. I will go into detail and the reason why you   01:20
really should back at this checklist. 1. Passport: make sure it's valid for at   01:26
least 6-month beyond your planed return  date. If you're Vietnamese and need to   01:32
renew or apply for new passport, you totally  can check on my channel for the instruction   01:37
of applying passport with 100% success. 2. Return plane ticket: you guys should   01:43
buy round plane ticket because the airport  staff will ask about the return ticket and   01:50
check it carefully at the check-in counter. 3. Singapore Arrival Card: you must have a   01:56
Singapore arrival card to entry into Singapore.  You should submit SG arrival card 2 or 3 days   02:02
within Arrival Date. Example: if you'll travel  on March 6, 2024 you can start submitting   02:10
on March 4, 2024 to the Arrival Date. Remember to submit this at home where is   02:17
more comfortable instead of standing at Changi  airport for 30 minutes or 1 hour just to fill   02:24
in the lots of information correctly in form. 4. Hotel Booking Address: you'll need a hotel   02:31
booking reservation to fill where-you-gonna-stay  address in the SG arrival card. Remember to fill   02:38
correctly the hotel's name and address because  the receptionist at the hotel will also check your   02:45
SG arrival card. It's like a way for foreigner to  register temporary residence address at Singapore.  02:51
5. Cash: thing is you don't need to bring  much cash at Singapore because it's a modern   02:59
city that accepts contactless payment and  the immigration clearance officer is no   03:06
longer question traveler for the minimum  cash they should bring along anymore.  03:11
I brought cash of 100 Singapore dollars and had  to drink milk tea 3 times a day just to use all   03:17
the cash I don't want to bring back home. 6. Credit/Debit cards: you should bring   03:25
2 contactless credit/ debit cards with you  just in case the one of each doesn't work.  03:32
If you are insecure about the banking security  and you have a debit contactless card,   03:39
you can top up half or all the money budget  for the trip into it and use all the way.  03:45
If you don't worry about the hacking  thing, you can tap your credit card   03:51
or your phone which is integrated the  credit card and enable the NFC directly.  03:55
Contactless cards are necessary in Singapore. You  not only use contactless card for shopping payment   04:02
but also for Bus/ MRT transportation. 7. Sim Card: during planing the trip,   04:10
I once thought i shouldn't buy Sim card because  maybe Singapore is modern city with full of Wi-Fi   04:17
cover all over the city. Hmm, spoiler alert!  04:24
The answer is NO. You really should buy a SIM  card for the internet data and to use the Google   04:27
Map so you will never be lost at Singapore.  You can also search for everything near you   04:34
to cut down the walking time. For saving money,  you can book SIM card and pay online through some   04:39
travel agents with cheaper price and pick up  SIM card at the airport in the Arrival Date.  04:45
Besides, the tip is you can buy just 1 sim card  and share the internet with your friend by using   04:51
the mobile hotspot. But remember when your phone  becomes a hotspot, it will lose the battery quite fast. 04:57
I'm not sponsored by any of the travel  agents so I put both links to buy SIM card for   05:05
you guys at the description, so you can choose  the cheaper at the time you watching this video.   05:11
From the price on the website, please plus 3% fee  of credit card payment for the final price.  05:17
I'll share the website and guide you the way to pick  up SIM card at Terminal 4 and Terminal 1 later.  05:24
8. Google map app download/ Offline MRT download:  if you use Android phone, maybe there's already a   05:31
Google map on your phone. If you don't have one,  download it before your trip. I downloaded 2 or   05:39
3 navigation apps before the trip. But after  the trip, I know I'll survive well at Singapore   05:45
just using Google map. To navigate the Bus/  MRT and to find the way by walking. About the   05:52
navigation and catch bus at Singapore, I'll  guide you later in this or in the next video.  05:58
9. Phone Charger/adapter/power bank: in my  previous trip, I booked one in the hotel 81 chain   06:05
and the socket at the hotel is international. In  case you book another hotel and have no idea what   06:15
socket they have, bring along an adapter which  converts from type G to International type. 06:21
10. Medications: bring some general  pills like paint killer, paracetamol   06:29
cold and flu, sun protection pill if you have. 11. Sun Protection: it's important to protect   06:37
your skin from sunburn and the hot temperature  at Singapore. Remember to use sunscreen,   06:46
wear sunlasses, hat and maybe pocket umbrella  will help a lot while waiting for crossing   06:53
street or queueing at noon. You can also pack  the pocket fan and mist spray in the tote bag.   07:00
Those small things help a lot with hot weather. 12. Empty drinking bottle: purified water is quite   07:07
expensive at Singapore but it's still affordable. However, if you want to save some   07:16
money (and to protect environment), you  should bring along a drinking bottle,   07:22
so you can refill water at Changi Airport or at the  National Stadium where the big event will going to   07:26
happen. The weather is kind of hot at Singapore  so please remember to keep yourself hydrated.   07:32
Besides you'd better bring the PLASTIC bottle  instead of glass because the National Stadium   07:39
restricts the glass bottles in their regulation. 13. Bring printed copies of your itinerary,   07:46
hotel reservation, return plane ticket, pre-booked  ticket, passport (Xerox) and any other important   07:55
travel documents in case your phone was broken  or in less fortunate situation (Jinx it!) 08:02
14. The National Stadium may restrict the tripods,   08:10
gimbals, monopods and selfie sticks;  so maybe you can consider about not   08:16
to bring this into the event. 15. And last but not least,   08:22
remember to bring comfortable clothing/  shoes because you might have to walk a lot   08:29
and also remember to bring ear plugs to protect  yourself from the loud noise at the concert. 08:35
Finishing the checklist above then  you already on the half of your way   08:45
to prepare for a self-planned trip to the  Eras Tour of Taylor Swift at Singapore.  08:49
In the next video, I will share more about  the way to catch bus and transport by MRT   08:56
from Changi airport to city and around  the city, as well as use credit/ debit   09:03
card as a method payment for the transportation. I hope this video may help you one way or another  09:09
