- What? 03:26
- [Voiceover] What are we seeing? 03:26
- Alvin and the Chipmunks: Road Chip. 03:27
- [Voiceover] Road Chip. 03:28
So what did you think of the movie? 03:31
- It was funny. 03:32
- [Voiceover] It was funny? 03:33
Yeah. 03:33
Better than any of the other ones or the same? 03:34
Out of the four, 03:37
which one do you like the best? 03:38
There's been four. 03:39
- I like this one a lot. 03:41
- [Voiceover] This one was good. 03:43
- But I also like the third one. 03:45
- [Voiceover] Chipwrecked? 03:47
- Yeah. 03:48
- [Voiceover] See, I didn't see that one. 03:49
- No? 03:50
- [Voiceover] What about you? 03:51
What did you think of the movie? 03:51

- [Voiceover] It was funny? 03:53
- Yeah. 03:53
- [Voiceover] Who's your favorite chipmunk? 03:54
- Alvin. 03:57
- [Voiceover] Alvin, yeah. 03:58
- I like how he does all the bad stuff. 03:59
- [Voiceover] He's the one 04:01
always getting into trouble, huh? 04:01
- Yeah. 04:02
- [Voiceover] Yep. 04:03
Alright, you guys. 04:04
It is finally time 04:04
to kick off our Star Wars marathon. 04:07
Here it is. 04:10
The Star Wars digital movie collection 04:11
on the Apple TV. 04:13
All six movies right there ready for us to rock and roll. 04:15
We got Mason in the house. 04:18
Mason's never seen all these movies 04:19
all the way through. 04:20
I think he's seen about as much of Return of the Jedi 04:21
as Bryce has 04:23
and the reason we watched Return of the Jedi 04:24
was A I said it was my favorite one 04:25
and B it's the one that Yoda dies 04:27
and blah blah blah. 04:29
Spoiler alert. 04:30
But no, we're going to bust down, 04:31
we're going to try to get through 04:33
the first three tonight. 04:33
That's the goal is to get through three tonight. 04:35
Six hours of Star Wars. 04:36
We'll take a couple breaks. 04:38
We'll eat some pizza, some popcorn 04:39
and then tomorrow morning 04:41
because Mason's staying the night, 04:42
hopefully tomorrow morning 04:44
we can jump right in. 04:44
Hopefully the kids are pumped 04:45
after watching the first three 04:46
that they can't wait to watch the next three. 04:47
That's my goal at least. 04:49
Cross your fingers. 04:50
And we'll go right into the next three tomorrow morning 04:51
and then the goal is 04:53
to go see the new Star Wars movie 04:54
on New Years' Day. 04:56
That is the goal. 04:57
Hopefully Jack's cool with that. 04:58
Jack's off of work though 05:00
so it would be the perfect day for us to go see that. 05:01
So that's what we're going to do guys. 05:04
That's how we're going to end our night. 05:05
We'll keep you updated. 05:06
We'll vlog throughout our breaks 05:07
and get the kids reactions after each movie. 05:09
That sort of thing. 05:10
But Star Wars marathon. 05:12
Here we go. 05:12
- And Yoda, 05:13
he's dead but we took his body. 05:14
- [Voiceover] (laughs) Geez. 05:16
We stuffed Yoda's body. 05:18
- [Bryce] Scared me. 05:30
(laughing) 05:31
- [Voiceover] The most famous intro of all time. 05:35
In the beginning. 05:41
Alright you guys, we just finished 05:43
Episode I: The Phantom Menace 05:45
and kids, what do you guys think? 05:48
- It was good. 05:50
- [Voiceover] It was good? 05:51
- It was awesome. 05:52
- [Voiceover] It was awesome? 05:53
Bryce's normal reaction is awesome. 05:53
So what did we learn in the first movie? 05:55
- We learned about Anakin-- 05:59
- [Voiceover] We learned where Anakin Skywalker 06:02
came from. 06:03
Right? 06:04
How they found him. 06:04
How he got to the Jedi temple 06:06
and got on the path to be a Jedi, right? 06:08
Alright, so now we're getting ready 06:11
to start Episode II which is Attack of the Clones. 06:12
It's ten years later 06:14
so the movie we just finished, 06:15
this is ten years later. 06:17
- So Anakin would be at least a teenager. 06:17
- [Voiceover] Yeah, we don't know how old he was 06:20
in the first movie. 06:21
Let's just say he was eight. 06:23
Right? 06:25
Like your age Bryce. 06:26
- Seven, eight. 06:26
- [Voiceover] Yeah and so now he's 18. 06:27
- Yeah, in the movie we just watched, 06:28
Episode I we learned that 06:31
now Anakin is an apprentice 06:33
and Obi-Wan is-- 06:37
- [Voiceover] Is the master. 06:39
- He's the master 06:39
so now Obi-Wan's going to be like, 06:40
what's his name? 06:43
- [Voiceover] Qui-Gon Jinn. 06:44
- Qui-Gon Jinn and-- 06:44
- Wait, who's the apprentice? 06:46
- [Voiceover] No, it's Anakin. 06:47
- Anakin. 06:48
- [Voiceover] Alright, here we go. 06:50
Episode II. 06:51
I'm excited. 06:53
It's been a while since I've seen this one. 06:56
I saw the first one a lot. 06:57
This one I only saw it like once or twice, I think. 06:59
Ooh. 07:02
- [Voiceover] Oh my God. 07:03
I'm so sorry. 07:04
- Holy moly. 07:05
That's why you always put the strap on. 07:06
Alright guys, so we just got done with 07:07
Episode II: Attack of the Clones. 07:09
Lot was revealed in that movie. 07:11
The problem is, 07:13
and I don't regret it but 07:14
there's a lot of foreshadowing in Attack of the Clones 07:16
for the other movies, right? 07:20
So stormtroopers, star destroyers, 07:21
the Death Star. 07:24
All that stuff is kind of foreshadowed in that movie. 07:25
I'm getting all excited about it like 07:28
oh my gosh 07:29
and these guys are like, whoa what? 07:30
Oh yeah, you don't know 07:31
because you haven't seen the movies. 07:33
They haven't seen four, five and six, 07:34
the original Star Wars movies 07:35
and so they don't get it 07:37
so there's a lot of that for me like oh 07:38
but anyways, we're getting ready to watch 07:41
Episode III. 07:42
We are going to kick it off. 07:43
It's 10:15, 07:43
which means it's going to be a late night. 07:44
We're going to be close to one o'clock 07:45
by the time we're done with this. 07:46
12:30 07:48
by the time we get done with this. 07:49
But it's the last one for tonight. 07:50
It gets us to Darth Vader 07:52
and then tomorrow morning 07:55
when we wake up, 07:56
we all wake up together, 07:57
we're going to finish up four, five and six 07:59
and we're going to watch all the way to the end 08:00
and then we'll be ready for the new one. 08:02
Right, guys? 08:03
- Yeah. 08:04
- So far, what do you guys think? 08:05
You guys excited? 08:06
- Yeah. 08:07
- Loving this so far? 08:07
- Yeah. 08:08
- There's a lot of talking. 08:09
There's some slow parts, right Bryce? 08:10
- Yeah. 08:12
- But the action's worth it. 08:12
- I'm mad though. 08:14
- Why you mad? 08:15
- There's no Chewbacca. 08:15
- We got two wookies right here. 08:17
But you guys will be ready in the morning. 08:19
We'll see Chewie tomorrow morning. 08:20
- It's because the Chewbacca's here. 08:21
- That's right. 08:24
- The talking is important-- 08:24
- It's part of the story. 08:25
- Yeah because let's say if they never talked, 08:26
you don't even know why they're fighting. 08:29
- That's right. 08:31
Sierra gets it. 08:31
She's older. 08:32
She gets it. 08:32
Alright, let's start Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. 08:33
Well, it's about 11 o'clock 08:36
and I started losing them. 08:38
They started kind of dozing off 08:40
so I decided to pause the movie. 08:41
We're about, I don't know, 08:44
45 minutes in. 08:45
About an hour in or so. 08:46
50 minutes or so. 08:47
And it's starting to get good 08:48
and I don't want them to miss anything 08:50
because Revenge of the Sith, Episode III 08:51
is the pivotal movie 08:53
where you see the transformation, 08:55
you see everything happening, 08:57
you see what leads up to A New Hope 08:58
and so we're going to pause the movie, 09:00
we're going to go to bed 09:02
and we're going to pick up in the morning 09:03
where we left off 09:04
and hopefully we can get through all four movies now 09:05
that we have to watch tomorrow. 09:08
That's a lot of movies. 09:09
And that's where I'm going to call it a night guys. 09:10
As I said before, 09:12
kind of an unexpected turn of events today. 09:13
Makes total sense. 09:15
I should definitely be hanging out with the kids 09:16
as much as possible while they're on winter break 09:18
so I'm glad that we went out to lunch 09:21
and saw the movie. 09:23
It was funny. 09:24
Definitely recommend 09:25
the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie 09:26
if you're into those. 09:27
And then we got to sit down and watch 09:29
at least two of the Star Wars movies. 09:30
Our goal is to finish them all off tomorrow. 09:32
I don't know. 09:34
I don't know if it's because it was late 09:35
and so they were getting tired 09:37
or if they were just like 09:38
four hours of movies today, 09:40
they were just like frying their brain 09:41
but we're going to at least attempt to get through 09:43
two more movies. 09:46
Hopefully get all three. 09:48
We'll see. 09:49
But that's the goal. 09:50
That's the plan. 09:51
For those of you guys who care about ClintusGames, 09:52
sorry I didn't stream today. 09:54
I said I was going to stream Star Wars. 09:55
It didn't happen. 09:56
I will try and make it up tomorrow 09:58
and/or Friday. 10:01
Trying to stream as much as I can 10:03
so just be sure to follow me on Twitter, 10:05

Hopefully Jack's cool with that.
Jack's off of work though
so it would be the perfect day for us to go see that.
So that's what we're going to do guys.
That's how we're going to end our night.
We'll keep you updated.
We'll vlog throughout our breaks
and get the kids reactions after each movie.
That sort of thing.
But Star Wars marathon.
Here we go.
- And Yoda,
he's dead but we took his body.
- [Voiceover] (laughs) Geez.
We stuffed Yoda's body.
- [Bryce] Scared me.
(laughing)
- [Voiceover] The most famous intro of all time.
In the beginning.
Alright you guys, we just finished
Episode I: The Phantom Menace
and kids, what do you guys think?
- It was good.
- [Voiceover] It was good?
- It was awesome.
- [Voiceover] It was awesome?
Bryce's normal reaction is awesome.
So what did we learn in the first movie?
- We learned about Anakin--
- [Voiceover] We learned where Anakin Skywalker
came from.
Right?
How they found him.
How he got to the Jedi temple
and got on the path to be a Jedi, right?
Alright, so now we're getting ready
to start Episode II which is Attack of the Clones.
It's ten years later
so the movie we just finished,
this is ten years later.
- So Anakin would be at least a teenager.
- [Voiceover] Yeah, we don't know how old he was
in the first movie.
Let's just say he was eight.
Right?
Like your age Bryce.
- Seven, eight.
- [Voiceover] Yeah and so now he's 18.
- Yeah, in the movie we just watched,
Episode I we learned that
now Anakin is an apprentice
and Obi-Wan is--
- [Voiceover] Is the master.
- He's the master
so now Obi-Wan's going to be like,
what's his name?
- [Voiceover] Qui-Gon Jinn.
- Qui-Gon Jinn and--
- Wait, who's the apprentice?
- [Voiceover] No, it's Anakin.
- Anakin.
- [Voiceover] Alright, here we go.
Episode II.
I'm excited.
It's been a while since I've seen this one.
I saw the first one a lot.
This one I only saw it like once or twice, I think.
Ooh.
- [Voiceover] Oh my God.
I'm so sorry.
- Holy moly.
That's why you always put the strap on.
Alright guys, so we just got done with
Episode II: Attack of the Clones.
Lot was revealed in that movie.
The problem is,
and I don't regret it but
there's a lot of foreshadowing in Attack of the Clones
for the other movies, right?
So stormtroopers, star destroyers,
the Death Star.
All that stuff is kind of foreshadowed in that movie.
I'm getting all excited about it like
oh my gosh
and these guys are like, whoa what?
Oh yeah, you don't know
because you haven't seen the movies.
They haven't seen four, five and six,
the original Star Wars movies
and so they don't get it
so there's a lot of that for me like oh
but anyways, we're getting ready to watch
Episode III.
We are going to kick it off.
It's 10:15,
which means it's going to be a late night.
We're going to be close to one o'clock
by the time we're done with this.
12:30
by the time we get done with this.
But it's the last one for tonight.
It gets us to Darth Vader
and then tomorrow morning
when we wake up,
we all wake up together,
we're going to finish up four, five and six
and we're going to watch all the way to the end
and then we'll be ready for the new one.
Right, guys?
- Yeah.
- So far, what do you guys think?
You guys excited?
- Yeah.
- Loving this so far?
- Yeah.
- There's a lot of talking.
There's some slow parts, right Bryce?
- Yeah.
- But the action's worth it.
- I'm mad though.
- Why you mad?
- There's no Chewbacca.
- We got two wookies right here.
But you guys will be ready in the morning.
We'll see Chewie tomorrow morning.
- It's because the Chewbacca's here.
- That's right.
- The talking is important--
- It's part of the story.
- Yeah because let's say if they never talked,
you don't even know why they're fighting.
- That's right.
Sierra gets it.
She's older.
She gets it.
Alright, let's start Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
Well, it's about 11 o'clock
and I started losing them.
They started kind of dozing off
so I decided to pause the movie.
We're about, I don't know,
45 minutes in.
About an hour in or so.
50 minutes or so.
And it's starting to get good
and I don't want them to miss anything
because Revenge of the Sith, Episode III
is the pivotal movie
where you see the transformation,
you see everything happening,
you see what leads up to A New Hope
and so we're going to pause the movie,
we're going to go to bed
and we're going to pick up in the morning
where we left off
and hopefully we can get through all four movies now
that we have to watch tomorrow.
That's a lot of movies.
And that's where I'm going to call it a night guys.
As I said before,
kind of an unexpected turn of events today.
Makes total sense.
I should definitely be hanging out with the kids
as much as possible while they're on winter break
so I'm glad that we went out to lunch
and saw the movie.
It was funny.
Definitely recommend
the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie
if you're into those.
And then we got to sit down and watch
at least two of the Star Wars movies.
Our goal is to finish them all off tomorrow.
I don't know.
I don't know if it's because it was late
and so they were getting tired
or if they were just like
four hours of movies today,
they were just like frying their brain
but we're going to at least attempt to get through
two more movies.
Hopefully get all three.
We'll see.
But that's the goal.
That's the plan.
