episode hi Dario hi Lisa thanks for
having me I'm super excited to be here
and share some tips on mastering
productivity through the right mindset I
think this topic is so important because
we live in such a busy World everyone's
juggling work personal life social media
and everything in between it's easy to
feel overwhelmed right absolutely but
here's the good news productivity isn't
about doing more it's about doing what
matters most with focus and Clarity and
a lot of that comes down to
mindset that sounds like something we
all need to hear so let's dive in and
uncover the secrets to mastering
productivity so Dario let's start with
the basics what does it mean to master
the mindset for
productivity great question Lisa
mastering the mindset means shifting how
you think about time tasks and yourself
a productive mindset is about focus
prioritization and believing you can
handle what's on your plate I like that
but it's easier said than done right I
mean what about procrastination so many
people including me struggle with it
procrastination is a big one but here's
the thing it often happens because of
fear fear of failure fear of the task
being too hard or even fear of success
one trick is to break tasks into smaller
manageable pieces for example if you
need to write a report don't think about
the entire report start with just the
introduction or an outline that's so
true I've noticed that when I break
things down it feels less overwhelming
exactly and here's another tip set a
timer there's a technique called the
Pomodoro Technique have you heard of it
yes but remind us how it works sure you
work for 25 minutes take a 5 minute
break and repeat after four rounds you
take a longer break it helps you stay
focused and avoid burnout that's
brilliant I can imagine this working
well for students studying for exams or
even busy moms trying to get things done
it's great for everyone another key
mindset shift is to stop multitasking
people think multitasking makes them
productive but it actually divides your
focus and makes you less efficient oh
I'm guilty of that I often try to reply
to emails while watching a tutorial or
even cooking and how does that usually
turn out let's just say I've burned a
few meals exactly focus on one thing at
a time and you'll see better results
what about real life examples can you
share a story of someone who changed
their productivity mindset of course I
once worked with a client named Sarah
she was a freelance designer who felt
overwhelmed by client demands she was
working late nights and still missing
deadlines when we analyzed her routine
we realized she wasn't prioritizing her
most important
tasks so what did she do we implemented
a simple system each evening she wrote
down her top three priorities for the
next day she started her mornings with
those tasks before checking emails or
social media within a month she was
meeting deadlines and even had time for
herself
wow that's
inspiring another common struggle is
dealing with distractions did you know
the average person checks their phone
over 100 times a day that's a lot of
lost Focus I believe it sometimes I pick
up my phone to check one thing and
suddenly 20 minutes are gone how do we
fix that start by setting boundaries for
instance put your phone on do not
disturb mode while working you can also
use apps that block social media during
work hours and here's a simple trick
keep your phone Out Of Reach if it's not
nearby you're less likely to pick it up
that's a great tip what about people who
feel overwhelmed by long-term goals like
someone who wants to start a business or
lose weight but doesn't know where to
begin the key is to break those goals
into smaller steps for example if you
want to start a business don't focus on
the entire plan at once start with
research or brainstorming ideas
celebrate small winds along the way it
keeps you
motivated I love that it's like building
momentum
right
exactly small actions lead to Big
results over time and speaking of
momentum another powerful tool is
creating habits when something becomes a
habit you don't need to rely on
Willpower as
[Music]
much all right Dario let's take a little
break and share a fun fact did you know
that people are most productive During
certain times of the
day yes it's called your biological
Prime Time most people are more focused
and energetic in the morning but some
are night owls who work best in the
evening exactly research shows that
knowing your Peak productivity hours can
make a huge difference for example I
feel most productive between 9 and 11:
a.m. what about you Dario for me it's
early mornings too I use that time for
my hardest tasks like brainstorming or
writing so for our listeners take note
of when you feel most focused and plan
your important tasks during that time
it's like working with your body instead
of against
[Music]
it this has been such an eye-opening
conversation Dario I love how you've
broken productivity down into something
achievable for everyone thanks Lisa
remember productivity isn't about
perfection it's about progress start
small focus on what matters and don't
forget to take breaks
absolutely so to all our listeners
here's your challenge for the week
identify your top three priorities for
tomorrow and Tackle them first thing let
us know in the comments how it goes and
don't forget your mindset is your
superpower believe in yourself and you
can achieve amazing things thank you so

time okay everyone it's time to learn
some important vocabulary related to the
topic the first word of today is
prioritize it means to arrange tasks or
activities in order of importance or
urgency example it's important to
prioritize your tasks so you can focus
on what's most important first next word
is
procrastination it means the act of
delaying or postponing tasks often
unnecessarily example procrastination is
the biggest obstacle to finishing my
assignments on time next word efficiency
it means the ability to accomplish a
task with minimal waste of time effort
or
resources example using a timer helped
me improve my efficiency while
studying next word distraction it means
something that prevents someone from
concentrating on a task example turning
off notifications on my phone helped me
avoid distractions during work the last
word is momentum it means the strength
or energy gained by moving forward or
progressing in a task example once I
started working on my project I gained
momentum and finished it quickly
