In the drama "That Guy is a Black Flame Dragon,"

I'm Choi Hyun-wook.

It's about a high school student named Baek Jung who meets his first love, "Black Flame,"

whom he met in a game during his school days.

They leave each other with scars from their "cringey" pasts,

but later they reunite when one becomes the other's boss.

It's a romantic comedy.

First of all, I found the script really interesting.

As for how I prepared for this drama,

I worked hard on everything from the stiff way he walks,

to his gestures and manner of speaking.

And as you'll see when you watch,

I dare say you can really look forward to

my chemistry with actress Moon Ga-young.

As Hyun-wook said, the script was very fun.

I also wanted to do something bright,

and since there are many elements that niche fans

or general viewers can find entertaining,

I chose this role thinking people would enjoy it.

And actually,

thinking that Hyun-wook would make filming fun,

rather than my own preparation,

I focused a lot on mentally preparing myself

to react well to Hyun-wook's reactions and ad-libs.

The character is very confident and refreshing—like a "cider" personality.

I felt that many people would find her satisfying

as she says the things they want to say,

so I was ambitious about playing her in a cool way.

The character, Joo-yeon...

She's someone who has a "geeky" side regarding her private life,

but since she has to be recognized as a successor

and fulfill her role as a General Manager,

I prepared a lot to show those two different sides in a diverse way.

If you compare her professional side to her "geeky" side,

you'll find her quite cute.

I'm one of the people who wants to read actress Moon Ga-young's book.

And for my TMI today, I just had lunch,

and it was delicious.

She was free-spirited and had a cute side.

When we first met, she came with pink headphones around her neck.

Now that I mention it,

those were actually broken; no sound came out.

They were just an accessory.

Also, she brought a green grape ade.

She still loves green grapes and Shine Muscat grapes.

That part of her hasn't changed at all.

She's still cute.

I'm the one who changed.

At first, did I seem difficult?

She had this calm, poised vibe.

But now we're so comfortable that she speaks so honestly,

it's almost like she's my real older sister.

Actually, it's because of Hyun-wook.

I can't pick just one specific thing,

but once we start laughing, it takes a long time to stop.

So we developed skills like looking at each other's eyebrows,

ears, or the space between the nose and lip while acting.

I have a lot of laughter. I can't hold it in.

Noona is usually better at holding it in.

I tried my best to hold it,

but because of Hyun-wook, I burst out laughing a lot.

I have great memories of filming.

Then the mood maker is obviously Hyun-wook, right?

Oh, but I actually think it's Ga-young noona.

Why?

I'm just like a seasoning—I add a bit of flavor here and there.

But Ga-young noona is the one who creates the overall atmosphere.

Because of that, I'm able to perform better in that good environment.
