E aqui vão as minhas reflexões.

Eu quero compartir com vocês

três pilares que considero prioritário

para realizar a liderança genuína.

O primeiro,

motivação intrínseca.

Quando terminei de estudar, eh, fui

fazer o serviço militar antes de

trabalhar

dentro da polícia.

E o que eu não sabia que essa

experiência

iria me dar algo de determinante depois

no resto da vida.

Depois de alguns meses, eu entrei dentro

do escritório central, comecei a cuidar

da escala de trabalho de cada dia dos

2000 policiais.

Eu comecei a fazer aquilo eh do melhor

que eu podia, ao máximo que eu fosse

capaz, né? guiado pela paixão de fazer

bem feito. E ao mesmo tempo,

isso também foi crucial,

eu buscava atender as necessidade

dos policiais,

necessidade que eu entendia porque eles

eram os meus colegas, muito deles meus

amigos. Foi aí quando percebi que

atendendo

ao mesmo tempo a necessidade do serviço

e a necessidade das pessoas, eles iriam

fazer o trabalho

com muito mais comprometimento.

E a coisa mais interessante de todas foi

que dessa forma

eu até sem querer, sem saber, comecei a

ser reconhecido como líder. Eu

Alguns anos atrás,

eh, eu tive um chefe do norte da Europa,

eh, tem uma coisa maravilhosa de

trabalhar numa empresa multinacional com

mais de 150 nacionalidades, que você

diferentes de você. E ele era muito

diferente de mim.

Acho que nunca tinha me abraçado antes.

Uma vez depois de ter feito tudo isso,

ele deixa cada um operar, atuar

no próprio estilo, do próprio jeito.

E com isso cria

um lugar seguro,

um lugar aonde

pode-se começar a voar,

pode-se liberar o potencial.

É o lugar aonde as pessoas não têm medo

de errar, não tem medo eh de discordar.

Aliás, eu sempre alimentei junto com os

meus times em qualquer país que eu

A gente concorda que a gente pode

discordar.

E agora vamos ver o terceiro pilar da

liderança genuína,

a conexão verdadeira.

Um 20 anos atrás,

de repente eu encontrei um post em

Facebook

que me emocionou muito.

Era de um rapaz que já tinha trabalhado

comigo na primeira minha passagem na

Balduco quando diretor de marketing.

rapaz ainda mais jovem do que eu, muito

moleque, mas que já tava claro

que ele tinha muito potencial,

criatividade, capacidade.

Ele me ajudava na época a fazer as

primeiras palestras que eu estava

fazendo. Na época eu não tinha internet,

então ele tirava foto de embalagem, de

produto, de anúncios, de marca. A gente

virava as noites juntos. Eu falava para

ele, tá tudo certo, tá tudo certo,

que continuar a estudar.

E ele me respondeu: "Eu também, eu

que eu estava buscando, né? É ser movido

por dentro com paixão, motivação

proteção, segurança emocional é marcar a
