[English]
Well, today is our...
the fourth performance of this series. For our
final performer, I'll be singing "Farewell Journey"
with senior artist Won Mi-yeon.
It's such, such, such a beautiful song.
Yes. A video of us
happening to run into each other at a restaurant
went viral,
and I thought, "Oh, right, there's Won Mi-yeon Noona,"
and I thought I should ask her to perform, so I reached out this time.
She was kind enough to say she wanted to do something grand,
so I'm so grateful.
She has such a charming vocal style and is such
a wonderful person.
I'm so, so, so happy to be here with her. I'm using the word "so"
way too much! I believe this is a song by Senior Shin Jae-hyung,
and it's truly a masterpiece.
I don't know. I just sang it
with my own interpretation, but as expected, I can't
compare to your version, Noona. For the harmonies,
I arranged them like this to make them sound pretty.
I thought this would be a great chance to see
once again how incredibly talented Senior Won Mi-yeon is,
so I feel very proud as a junior. Since she recorded this
in this public space,
I decided to come to a Seoul studio instead of my house
after a long time, so that we could
sing together in the same room.
Here is "Farewell Journey."
Thank you.
[Music]
[Music]
The way you look at me
is somehow overwhelming. [Music]
[Song]
Without being able to say a word, [Music]
leaning against the window,
I gaze at you.
Even though we [Music] are parting ways, [Song]
I am truly [Music] sorry to you.
But [Song] no matter how much time passes,
I will [Music] never be able
to forget
you.
Like a painting
hanging on a wall,
you just stare at me [Music]
without any expression.
[Music]
I will leave
these streets behind.
This farewell journey
that is not for me, but for you.
[Music] I want to leave
only good memories [Music]
with you forever. [Song]
Now, everything will probably feel [Music]
like an excuse.
Once again, [Song]
the words I wanted to tell you [Music]
about love... [Music]
I wanted so much [Music]
from you. [Song]
That's what it was.
