- They're probably gonna be not as processed and horrible for you.

- Maybe, because it's South American, it could be something similar

to Mexican food, but I mean, I've never been to Brazil.

Who knows?

and they were able to get these snacks specially from Brazil for you.

- Wow, so it's actually from Brazil.

- You don't have to go to Brazil to have Brazilian snacks sent to you.

Now I can try things from all over!

- I'm ready. I love food so much!

I'm so excited.

- (Katie) Here is your first snack to try. - Ooh... Funyuns.

- Are these like pork rinds?

- It looks like a puffy Frito.

- Yeah, oh-- ooh, it smells like maple syrup.

- It smells like bacon.

- I'm gonna eat this.

- That's really good.

- It tastes like I'm chewing on styrofoam .

- Mmm! It tastes like barbecued Fritos.

- It kind of just tastes like puffed up chips that are kind of salty,

but I don't know what it is.

- (Katie) This snack was Yokitos Bacon.

It is a bacon-flavored chip.

- Yokitos Bacon. That sounds like Spanish for "I want bacon."

- That seems so American, bacon-flavored chips.

- I don't like bacon!

This is not something up for debate, but I like these.

This chip's giving me some mixed feelings.

- (Katie) Here's the next one.

- This looks interesting.

- These look like packaging peanuts.

- I'm a little scared to try these! (laughing)

(crunching)

- (negatively) Mmm-mmm. No.

- Are these just, like, buttered chips?

- What's the point of that? It's like literally styrofoam in there.

- Just like a plain wheat flavor.

- It doesn't even taste good, but I kind of want to keep eating it.

(munching)

(uncertainly) Hmm. I don't know, what is it?

- (Katie) This snack was Biscoito de Polvilho.

It's a traditional Brazilian snack

made from the sour starch of the yucca plant.

- Okay, well, the yucca plant tastes like nothing.

- Maybe my palates just aren't advanced enough to appreciate it,

but not for me.

- (Katie) The next snack.

- I'm actually really intrigued by this one.

It's really squishy. It looks something a fish would eat.

- It looks like a little poop.

- This kind of looks like a fiber bar that just makes you poo.

- Is this fudge?

- It's not chocolate.

It looks like something that's gone bad.

- It's so chewy! (gags and laughs)

I don't like that.

- It's either fig or plum or maybe something.

I think this is fig.

(audible chewing)

- Is it made from fruit? It's like mashed fruit.

And it's good. I like it.

- It tastes like the inside of a Fig Newton.

- I thought it was gonna taste bad

just because it kinda looks like poop on a plate,

but once you put it in your mouth, then it's like,

"Oh, this is actually kind of pleasant."

- (Katie) This snack was Bananinha Paraibuna.

It's made from overripe bananas and is eaten as a protein bar in Brazil.

- Okay, that definitely doesn't taste like bananas.

- For all the people who like fruit snacks, but they can't eat them

'cause of the artificial flavors, this is perfect.

Get Brazilian food!

- (Katie) Let's try this one! - Oh, these look fun.

- Ooh! That smells good.

- This is gonna be spicy. These are like jalapeno something.

- I feel like these could be some sort of Brazilian corn nuts.

(munching)

- Oh, wow, that's salty. And it's a little spicy.

(munching)

- I like that. It's kind of like a Frito.

(munching)

- Mmm! That packs a punch.

(crunching)

- Hey!

That's not that bad. I like it.

- Oh my god. That's so good.

Yes! This is really good!

You put this in and it's like, "Whoa, there's a lot goin' on,"

and I like that a lot.

- It's like every really flavorful chip ever created into one.

- (Katie) This snack was Torcida.

It's made with Mexican jalapenos

and is a very popular snack in the São Paulo region.

- Oh my god. I'd be all over this.

- I'd eat a whole bag of these.

- I think we should have some of these down to the USA.

- I'm gonna keep eating these until you bring over the next thing.

(loud crunch)

- Last snack. - Interesting.

It looks like a granola bar.

- More random pastes shoved in-- oh shoot!

(laughing) Oh my god!

I just picked it up and it exploded!

- It kinda looks like it's a brick.

- Oh, it smells like peanut butter.

- This is a peanut butter something.

- Here we go.

I definitely tastes nuts or something.

- Oh, that's good.

It's like the inside of a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.

- Oh my god. Okay.

Brazil makes amazing snacks apparently.

- It tastes like peanut butter,

like a little peanut butter cookie or something.

- It's really messy.

And I'm a very messy eater, so this was, like, ten times worse.

- (Katie) This snack was Yoki Pacoquinha.

It's a ground peanut snack made from just three ingredients:

peanuts, sugar, and salt.

- That seems very unhealthy, but it was very delicious.

- These would just be amazing on an ice cream.

Like, could we bring out some ice cream right now

so that I can just eat the whole thing?

- (Katie) So which one of these snacks was your favorite that you'd recommend?

- Torcida, definitely the Torcida.

- I loved the Torcida a lot.
