Key Grammar Structures

                    Obudził mnie **zły sen**, i nie chcę dłużej spać ➔ Subject-verb agreement and adjective-noun agreement ➔ The adjective "zły" (bad) agrees in case and gender with the noun "sen" (dream). The verb "obudził" (woke) agrees with the subject. Also, "nie chcę" (I don't want) - the verb is in the first person singular.

                    Krzyczy to, co we mnie jest, **że nie ma czego się bać** ➔ Subjunctive mood and Relative clause ➔ The clause "że nie ma czego się bać" (that there is nothing to fear) is a subordinate clause expressing a subjective feeling and uses the subjunctive mood implicitly (or its equivalent in Polish grammar). The clause is also relative.

                    Po ciemku mknę do świec **jak naćpana ćma** ➔ Simile (using "jak") and Adjective-noun agreement ➔ The phrase "jak naćpana ćma" (like a drugged moth) uses "jak" (like) to create a simile. The adjective "naćpana" agrees with the noun "ćma" (moth) in gender and case.

                    Bo to czego bardzo chcę, krzyczy do mnie **w moich snach** ➔ Prepositional phrase and possessive adjective ➔ "w moich snach" (in my dreams) is a prepositional phrase. "moich" (my) is a possessive adjective, showing possession of "sny" (dreams). It agrees with the case and gender of "sny".

                    Atmosfera gęsta, **bo za duża presja** ➔ Conjunction and comparative adjective ➔ "bo" (because) is a conjunction. "za duża" (too big) uses the comparative adjective "duża" modified by "za" (too), expressing a degree of excess.

                    Chyba dzisiaj **pełnia, znów ta sama pętla** ➔ Nominal sentence and demonstrative pronoun ➔ This is a nominal sentence (a sentence without a verb), indicating a state or a situation. "ta sama" (the same) uses the demonstrative pronoun "ta" which refers to the noun "pętla" (loop).

                    Wyjeżdżam nie ten pejzaż, **na pobocze skręcam** ➔ Prepositional phrase and verb conjugation ➔ "na pobocze" (to the roadside) is a prepositional phrase indicating direction. The verb "skręcam" (I turn) is conjugated in the first-person singular.

                    Wszystko wydaje sie takie **tandetne** ➔ Adjective and adjective-noun agreement ➔ "tandetne" (tacky) is an adjective describing "wszystko" (everything). Although "wszystko" is technically a pronoun, it functions as a noun here, hence the need for the adjective to agree with its gender and case (neuter in this instance).
